O Saint Peregrine, you who have been called “The Wonder-Worker” because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you, who for so many years bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more: you who were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction, ask of God and Our Lady the cure of these sick persons whom we entrust to you (WE PRAY ESPECIALLY FOR JOY). Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing praise to God for His great goodness and mercy. Amen

With each sunrise, let us offer prayer on behalf of our sister, Joy. Daily fortify her, O Lord, to face each day’s challenges with faith, hope and love. You have granted her a thankful and steadfast heart, for which we thank and praise You. We beseech You to lead her through the challenge which lies ahead, reminding her often of the dawning light that is our resurrected Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. Alleluia!

UPDATE
Dear Friends , I have just received a letter from Joy , expressing her gratitude for all the prayerful support she has received . She still has a further week’s radiotherapy to undergo ,
but recently had a chest infection which set her recovery back . However , she has now recovered from that , although she finds it very exacting travelling to the radiotherapy centre every day ,as it is quite some distance to travel there . I would ask you ,dear friends if you would kindly continue your prayers for her complete recovery , and for there to be no recurrence of this dread disease . Once again , I ask God’s Blessings on you all .

Delay not, Blessed Lady, to rescue me whenever I call on you. In my temptations, in my needs, I will never cease to call on you, ever repeating your sacred name, Mary, Mary. What a consolation, what sweetness, what confidence fills my soul when I utter your sacred name or even only think of you! I thank the Lord for having given you so sweet, so powerful, so lovely a name. But I will not be content with merely uttering your name. Let my love for you prompt me ever to hail you Mother of Perpetual Help. Mother of Perpetual Help, pray for me and grant me the favor I confidently ask of you.Please intercede for Joy that she will make a full & complete recovery to full health Amen

    We seek thy merciful aid, St. Peregrine, especially for those afflicted or threatened by cancer, by any ailment of the foot, or by any incurable diseases. Please help us quickly to find a cure for cancer, and a remedy for all our human infirmities of soul, mind, and body. Amen.
