Father, may our sister, Joy, receive supernatural comfort as a result of abandoning herself to Your Divine Providence. May she thank You for each breath she takes, and rely completely on Your mercy, brought about by the unceasing prayers of the faithful. Grant this, Lord of love, through the intercession of our risen Savior Jesus Christ. Amen. Alleluia!
 
Prayer for the sick

Father of goodness and love hear our prayers for the sick members of our community and for all who are in need. Amid mental and physical suffering may they find consolation in your healing presence. Show your mercy as you close wounds, cure illness, make broken bodies whole and free downcast spriits. May these special people find lasting health and deliverance, and so joun us in thanking you for all your gifts. We ask this through the Lord Jesus who healed those who believed.

We seek thy merciful aid, St. Peregrine, especially for those afflicted or threatened by cancer, by any ailment of the foot, or by any incurable diseases. Please help us quickly to find a cure for cancer, and a remedy for all our human infirmities of soul, mind, and body. Amen.
