Father, we pray that You have granted Joy the strength of spirit and depth of faith which will allow her to persevere throughout the course of treatment which is prescribed for her. In Your unfathomable mercy, please accept our prayers on her behalf. In this life we struggle and experience many troubles, O Lord. We seek that our imperfect prayers might call some small grace down upon Joy in her time of testing. May Joy offer her trials, her pains, her anxiety and her suffering up to Your beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, who suffered all for our sake. May the blood which Your Son shed on the cross sanctify our prayers and make them worthy of Your consideration. We ask this through the intercession of the same Lord Jesus Christ, Who sits at Your right hand. Alleluia! Amen.
 
Oh Mother of Perpetual Help, grant that I may ever invoke your powerful name, the protection of the living and the salvation of the dying. Purest Mary, let your name henceforth be ever on my lips. Delay not, Blessed Lady, to rescue me whenever I call on you. In my temptations, in my needs, I will never cease to call on you, ever repeating your sacred name, Mary, Mary. What a consolation, what sweetness, what confidence fills my soul when I utter your sacred name or even only think of you! I thank the Lord for having given you so sweet, so powerful, so lovely a name. But I will not be content with merely uttering your name. Let my love for you prompt me ever to hail you Mother of Perpetual Help. Mother of Perpetual Help, pray for me and grant me the favor I confidently ask of you.Please intercede for Joy that she will make a full & complete recovery to full health Amen

    We seek thy merciful aid, St. Peregrine, especially for those afflicted or threatened by cancer, by any ailment of the foot, or by any incurable diseases. Please help us quickly to find a cure for cancer, and a remedy for all our human infirmities of soul, mind, and body. Amen.

And that she may find peace amidst the changes in her life.
