My dear friends , I have seen Joy today , and she is now in good health , and able to return full time to her position as a doctor’s receptionist . She would like me to thank you most gratefully for all your very loving and caring prayers . Whilst she knows that God has healed her , she feels that it would not have been without your many prayers that she has been able to cope with this terrible period in her life. UPDATE

Dear friends , this is an update , I had not anticipated posting for my friend Joy for whom many of you have posted on this thread . Having being diagnosed as suffering from cancer of the breast , she had endured the further pain of surgery ,a mastectomy followed by chemotherapy . She successfully survived by God’s mercy and healing grace with many caring and loving prayers being offered by you my friends , and she returned to her work as a doctor’s receptionist . That was in October 2010 . I last saw her at the doctor’s surgery some two months ago , a friendly and fiesty lady who had endured so much ,and was now apparently well and happy . Regretably , on going to my doctor’s surgery last week , I was informed that Joy.rather suddenly experienced difficulty in breathing and has very sadly passed away, following a pulmonary embolism . I must admit this was a shock for which I was not prepared . I have naturally expressed my condolences to her family , and would like to thank you once again for your prayers for her in the past, and invite you to offer prayers now for the repose of her soul .
I pray that her soul rests with God . who I also pray , will console and comfort Joy’s husband Jim and her son Scott and all their family in their grief and sorrow . May God bless you all . Natalie

Eternal rest grant unto Joy, O Lord, and let Your perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. In Your mercy, grant the comfort and consolation of Your Most Holy Spirit to her loved ones in this, their time of sorrow. Amen.
