Lord we thankyou that Kevin is going to Sloan Kettering and April 11th he will have chemo and radiation treatment.We pray that the bone marrow transplant on April 21st will be successful.We pray for strength for Kevin emotionally and physically to get through this worrying time.We also pray for his dear family who love him so much and I ask You would bless Kevin Lisa and Joyce grant them extra strength to get through.Lord please guide all the medical professionals in Kevins care that they will have all the necessary skills and knowledge and he will be healed.Lord in Your mercy please hear our prayers Amen

Almighty God , we thank You that Kevin is to enter the Sloan Kettering hospital for the chemotherapy and radiation treatment and we pray that the bone marrow transplant operation will be entirely successful . We humbly ask You to pour Your Healing Grace on Kevin , and help and guide all the medical and nursing staff to use their knowledge , skill and dedication to restore him to completely good health . We ask You too , O Lord God , to comfort Kevin , Lisa and Joyce in their worry and distress , and grant Kevin the strength to concentrate his thoughts on having a successful bone marrow transpant , aided by Your Mercy and Compassion .

Dear Jesus , Divine Physician and Healer of the sick , we turn to you in this time of illness . O dearest comforter of the troubled , alleviate our worry and sorrow with your gentle love , and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden . Amen .
Dear God , we place our worries in your hands . We place our sick brother , Kevin under your care and humbly ask that you restore your servant to health again . Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge your will and know that whatever you do , you do for the love of us . Amen .

Lord Jesus , You are the great friend of the sick , and healed them while You were on earth . Grant them once more Your healing power , and comfort them in their affliction .
Come Holy Spirit , strengthen Kevin, so that he may find renewed health both in body and soul . Amen .

is there anything wrong with having no more tears to shed?that’s how it is with me lately—cold,aloof in this cold ,aloof world we live in…kevin has to go through too much in a lifetime -between, chemo,radiation,spinal taps,needles,bone marrow biopsies,blood work,medicine,pain,fear of the unknown–WHEN IS ENOUGH ALREADY?he is going to be a prisoner[patient that is]in sloane kettering on monday after the drs said he would die without the bone marrow transplant for about 2 months or so…Does he ever complain–NO!does he ever ask why him?NO does he ever want to sell his soul to the very demon that gave this newly turned 19 year old cancer?NO!does he ever ask why his girlfriend of a year left him 2 weeks ago?NO…so why am i asking my questions …seems like i’m the weak one now…onward brave kevin…do what has to be done to finally achieve a cure—in the Great Lord i implore you to hear all of our prayers so that kevin can return to the land of the living and serve you —AMEN and God bless all and one who listened to my rhetoric on this very bleak depressing day for me oh and please Lord pray for lisa,paul,joe and cynthia–kev’s most immediate family for their strength…

Through the prayers of the faithful, may Kevin receive the strength to endure the treatment that lies ahead for him. He remains in daily prayer. His intention was placed before our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament on Thursday and Friday. Amen.
