For your father,
Almighty Eternal God, in Your fatherly goodness, be kind to the soul of Your servant. Cleanse him whom You have called from this world of all his faults, take him into the Realm of Light and Peace and into the Community of Your Saints, and give him his share of Eternal Delight in Your Kingdom. God, You Creator and Saviour of all the faithful, forgive all the sins of all Your servants’ souls. Let them receive forgiveness through our pious prayer, for which they have always been yearning. For this we pray through Jesus, Our Lord. Amen.

Father of mercies and God of all consolation, You pursue us with untiring love and dispel the shadow of death with the bright dawn of light.
Comfort Kdkkdt in this loss and sorrow. Be our refuge and our strength, O Lord, and lift us from the depths of grief into the peace and light of Your Presence.
Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, by dying has destroyed our death, and by rising, restored our life. Enable us therefore to press on toward him, so that, after our earthly course is run, He may reunite us with those we love, when every tear will be wiped away. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Give me confidence in the depths of danger.
Give me hope when I am surrounded by fear.
Still my worries, calm the anxieties pressing in on me from the world I live in.
Lord Jesus, give me Your peace.
Reassure me that You are with me when I seem alone.

Guide my searching for peace,
so that I may not seek it where it is not to be found,
but I may seek it in You.
