Since loosing income in April of 2016, I quit the expense of going to the gym to exercise. As can well be imagined this has had a tremendous negative effect on my physical well being.

Please pray for me to get the motivation to go walking on a daily basis and pray the rosary around the neighborhood.

Also, pray that I get wisdom on how to use income I do have temporarily until November to obtain another gym membership.

Praying! If you can say one for me as well I’d appreciate it. I’ve ballooned after being sick lol.

ICXC NIKA to both of you.

OP: November is a long way off for your body. Look into fitness routines that can be pursued without a gym?

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Peace

Do you have a bike? Great for cardio-vascular exercise, and for praying the Rosary or Chaplet of Divine Mercy while on a ride. Ten fingers = ten beads. Oddly enough, I rode and prayed the most when I was pretty much filled with cancer…

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Jesus, Mary and Joseph, we pray, please be with the poster (and all of us) on our way to getting the exercise and other healthy habits needed to stay in good shape.

St. Sebastian, patron saint of athletics, please intercede in helping bradleesargent, and anyone else in need of such help reading this thread, including myself, to be motivated to exercise more. In Jesus’ name we pray. Thank you. Amen.

Praying for your intentions. May God provide a way for you to obtain another gym membership. It’s so good for you health wise. If not, I pray you can adjust to exercising in ways that don’t include the gym.

God Bless,

Mary…

“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been purchased at a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body.”

I understand the struggle of how hard it can be to exercise. On Tuesday I worked out for the first time in months, didn’t really want to, but after seeing myself in a full body-length mirror, I realized something had to change. My legs are screaming everytime I move, but it’s a good kind of pain because it means I actually did something for myself. Just remember it’s one workout at a time, one day at a time. I’ll keep you in my prayers! You’ve got this. 👍
