Pray for my daughter

St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness
and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray.
O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits,
who prowl the world
seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Lord, please protect “our young man” from those that seek to use him for their own selfish reasons, those that care for themselves and not for him. Shield him from those that would influence him to make harmful choices so that they are not alone in their own immature endeavors. Keep from the weakness that would cause him to succumb.

Lord, you could not have created something so beautiful and positive only to end it for no reason at all. Too many plans and too many dreams were confided in one another for these two young people to be “done” with each other. And so, we continue to pray for something to lead him back to where he was meant to be. Praying still Lord, that my beautiful daughter’s dream comes true as she hopes.

What she asks for may seem to others like something that would be impossible or improbable or take a miracle, but we know that with you Lord, all things are possible. If it your will Lord, I ask that you grant our intention as my daughter hopes it will enfold. She is logical, determined, faithful and truly believes that you will bring about what she asks.

Again Lord, I ask you to inspire the friend’s heart to act on my daughter’s behalf. She has asked Dan and he said that he would give it some thought, but as of yet, he has not responded to that. Still, he will not be able to intervene until Thanksgiving break, so we fervently pray until then, that you will fill him with compassion for her request. Speak boldly through Dan and let him be Your voice to break down the walls her ex has built up around himself. Move him so greatly that he sees the truth of what he has walked away from for both of their lives, and return to my daughter. Remove all pride and any doubt that would keep him from her. I ask this through the intercession of Your Most Holy Mother, Mary.

for love of Your beloved Son Jesus,
please grant the prayers of this mother’s heart for her daughter’s welfare and happiness.
 
Tonight, my daughter made me laugh when she said that “perhaps God will get so sick of hearing people that he will just send a lightening bolt at him!”

Once again, I want to thank everyone that has ever posted prayers here for my daughter and her ex and also to all of the people that have read this and prayed for her and not posted but prayed in their heart. We are humbled and blessed by all of you. Know that we thank you and pray for your intentions as well.

As one of my friends here said recently, there are days when coming here to CAF is how we get through the day, knowing that others are united to us not only by their prayers for her, but also by their own requests for prayers for them.

O Merciful Lord, I thank you for leading me to this site, for the support and friends I have found here. Bless all of them, and grant their intentions if it is your will. I ask this through the intercession of Your Most Holy Mother, Mary.

MIRACULOUS INVOCATION
TO SAINT THERESE
O glorious Saint Therese, whom Almighty God has raised up to aid and counsel mankind, I implore your Miraculous Intercession. So powerful are you in obtaining every need of body and soul our Holy Mother Church proclaims you a “Prodigy of Miracles…the Greatest Saint of Modern Times.” Now I fervently beseech you to answer my petition (mention here) and to carry out your promises of spending Heaven doing good upon earth…of letting fall from Heaven a Shower of Roses. Henceforth, dear Little Flower, I will fulfill your plea “to be made known everywhere” and I will never cease to lead others to Jesus through you.
Amen.

I want to thank St. Therese for sending both myself and my daughter a rose from her heavenly garden. Through these roses, we have both felt a new found sense of hope.

I continue to ask for your prayers, all my friends. Now more than ever.

I continue to ask You O Lord to reunite my daughter and this young man if it is your will. We believe that you mean them to be together and pray for the day you will allow this to happen. Please inspire Dan when he sees her ex. Speak through him and allow his words to settle in this young man’s heart so that he realizes the truth. Until then, keep him safe from all harm, and help him resolve whatever has caused him to become this way and not the young man we knew and loved. I ask this through the intercession of Your Most Holy Mother, Mary.
 
Dear Irishmom,

I hope you are feeling better as time goes on. As with me I suspect you have good days and bad days. If you are having a bad day today may the thought of our prayers console you. The understanding that all moms share our worries and concerns, our heartaches and our anxiety. You are not alone and better days are on the horizon. Yesterday I was pondering the CAF and the Church in general. I’ve heard it my whole life and never understood it in a real way until now. We are all the body of Christ. Wow I really experience that here at CAF. The spirit of God is here and although we are many, all of our gifts, talents, experiences and spirits come together to form one spirit and one body for the glory of God. In our prayers and consolations, in our wisdom and teaching. I am so grateful for this place.
