Thank you Lord for all the friends on this forum that have continued to pray even though my computer was down for the last week or so! Bless all of them for their continued prayers and grant that their own intentions are fulfilled.
My daughter is doing a little better coping but still has her bad days when she cannot make any sense of what happened. She had a particular academic problem that caused her great stress, but in his goodness, God had actually given her the opportunity to reach out to her young man and ask for his ear. And thanks be to God that he was there for her and did not turn away from her. So for that, I am thankful and keep telling her that it will take time. I saw this problem as the start of a small baby step in the journey back.
It is apparent to anyone that knows him that he is still in love with my daughter. He has told her that he desperately wants to be friends, but that they can never be more than that. Hmmmm. I think I will let God decide instead! Please continue to pray that he seeks help for his stress and overwhelmed feelings which we believe is the cause of his shutting her out.
Thank you again for all of your prayers. I feel truly blessed by all of you.

Our loving God has brought mutual friends back into my daughter’s life to hold her up when she needs it most. Thank you Lord for the gift of these friends. Help them find the words to soften this young man’s heart and have him realize what everyone else seems to know but him.
Please help him realize that walking away from the best support he ever had in his life will not help him deal with the stresses of his life. It has been over a month and his life is no better because she is absent from it. Please have him become aware of this and seek her out again. They were each other’s support through some rough times and should always be there as they once were. Together, they were rock.
I have never seen two people more suited to each other and that is perhaps why this is so bewildering. There was absolutely nothing that happened between them to cause their parting. Please remove whatever it is that is clouding this young man’s vision of what is right before him. Oh Lord, I ask that you move someone to find the right moment to speak with him. Give them the words that will heal him. Speak through them that he will hear Your voice. Kindly speak to my daughter too and give her hope. I humbly ask this through the intercession of you most holy Mother, Mary.
