Pray for my daughter

Holy Mother Mary we continue to pray

Hail Mary, full of grace.
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
 
Lord please bless all involved in this to be open to Your will for each of them.May Irishmom be comforted through this worrying time.I ask You would comfort the daughter and heal her hurt.Please guide the boyfriend to open his heart and mind and bring someone into their lives that could help this to a good resolution for all involved.Lord we thankyou for the many blessings in our lives and love You above all things.Lord in Your mercy hear our prayers Amen
 
Still praying for some movement in this situation Lord.

My daughter has learned that her ex is very miserable right now, and still, he resists talking to anyone. He initiates contact and says he is miserable to some friends and then pulls back and won’t talk to them and says he is fine when clearly he isn’t.

Please help this young man open up to someone about what is going on in his life to make him choose this way of living. He is a wonderful, intelligent, loving person that has so much to offer, but is shutting himself off in pain and won’t let anyone in. Please send someone or something to open his heart.

And please Lord, stay close to my daughter. Bring her healing if that is your will, but you know that we are praying for more. We are praying for these two young people to be reunited the way they were, but after getting some help, to be even better than before. It is hard to imagine that they could be better than they were, but obviously if what ever is bothering him is learned how to be dealt with, he can only be a stronger person for it.

Hold them both in the arms of your love Lord.

The return of her old friends into her life has helped again and for their ears, I am most grateful Lord. You have sent friends that listen and have offered to talk to this young man if the opportunity arises. This has given my daughter a glimmer of hope that was not there before. It seems that the more mutual friends she speaks to, the more she finds people also realizing that something is very wrong in his life. He is not now the guy they knew…

I plead with your Lord to have something wake him up and allow him to see his life as it has become. Instead of growing stronger, his behavior shows that he is regressing into someone he used to be. His stress and anxiety have taken over his life again and fear is running his life. I plead for her friends to find that opportunity they need to speak with him.

I thank you Lord, for all the love you have sent my daughter’s way. She wants nothing but for him to be happy in his life even if it is without her, if that is your will. I hope that it is not. My daughter has a most beautiful mind and a very loving heart. She is much more willing to sacrifice her own desire than her mother would have done at her age…😊

I ask you Lord to grant these intentions through the intercession of your most Beloved Mother, Mary.

Thank you Lord for faithful friends that continue to pray for my intentions with me. It is so easy to feel lost and alone and that no one else cares or that your problem seem trivial compared to everything else that people are going through. As a mother, I want so much to fix everything and take away any pain my child feels, but sometimes I cannot. Only you can Lord. I plead with you to bring about something positive in the lives of these two young people. Please bring them back together to love and support each other in whatever obstacles come their way as they used to. I ask this through the intercession of your most blessed Mother, Mary.

Dear Jesus, thank you for sending friends to counsel, comfort and encourage these 2 young people. We thank you for the faith and generosity that IrishMom2’s daughter is displaying throughout this - she is a witness for Your love and caring in our world.

Holy Spirit, we ask for Your special intervention in freeing this young man from the bondage that is keeping him from being the positive, faith-filled and loving person he has been in the past. Please hear our prayers to deliver him from all that is not-of You.

St Michael the Archangel, defend us in the day of battle
Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil
May God restrain him we humbly pray and do thou, Oh Prince of the Heavenly Host
By the Power of God, thrust down to hell, Satan

Mother Mary, Queen of the Rosary, continue to comfort and sustain our friend, IrishMom2 who is walking this road with her daughter. You know what it is like to walk and suffer with your child and we thank you for never letting these children of yours feel alone.

Even as so much time goes by Lord, we still do not feel that this is over. There are just too many people (some that have spent time with him) that feel as we do: that this young man is still in love, but that he is unable to manage all he is feeling because of his workload at school and at his job that cause him to stress out and despair.

I pray that you will speak into his ear and touch his heart that he will know the TRUTH. Please give him insight and vision beyond today that he might be able to fully grasp what is going on in his life. Please give him HOPE and FAITH, even as small as a mustard seed…

I ask this through the intercession of your Most Holy Mother, Mary.
 
Know that I am praying for your daughter.
I know how it feels to experience your child suffering like this, and how intensely as a parent you feel everything she is going through. I hope you are managing to sleep well and take care of yourself too. It takes a lot out of one to know ones’s child is suffering, regardless of age.

Father in Jesus Name, will You please ensure to wisest, most loving, and most wholesome outcome will emerge for Irishmom’s daughter. Please help her to continue to grow in love and insight. Please lead her to the happy, mutually loving relationship that You desire for her.
Please heal her of the deep sorrow and loss she is experiencing. Thank You for the love and support of her mother and of her friends.

We commend her and this young man to Your merciful love and healing. We praise You for Your mercy which we believe will ensure the happiest and most wholesome outcomes.

Dear Irishmom,

Please know that I am right there with you in your suffering. It is so hard when you cannot fix things for your children. I often wonder how my mom got through it with three daughters!!! But take comfort in knowing that nothing remains the same. All things will change/pass. I pray that God sends people into your daughter’s life that will fulfill and enrich her. And that the young man also finds peace and happiness. If it is not against the Divine will of God, may they find each other again and go on to conduct God’s will on their journey together.

I went to see my daughter again yesterday. I thank God for a safe trip there and back. It was a beautiful autumn day and I could not help but look at the trees on the mountains changing into their beautiful autumn splendor. How great is our God to have had such attention to every detail, to create such a beautiful thing every year?

And yet, as my daughter told me, somehow, the beautiful day made her feel even sadder, that she did not have her boyfriend to share it with as she has had for so long. Had they been together, it would have been him instead of me that would have been discussing the wonderful day. And I totally understood what she meant, for even just being on campus and as we walked around the city again, there were so many reminders of him even to me. I can’t imagine how it feels to her every day to constantly be reminded of him, so close and yet so unreachable.

She told me about spending time with her old friends again and how they are glad that she has “returned” to be with them. They are also at a loss to explain what happened as they knew them both and cannot understand what has happened to him. They also feel that something is wrong for him to act this way, something so “not him.”

I pray Lord, that you will bless these special friends for sharing their time and their hearts with my daughter. I also pray that if any of them feel they can help him in any way, that they will do so without fear. Please move the hearts of anyone that speaks to him, to speak the truth kindly and with compassion for what he must be experiencing.

Help my daughter Lord to be hopeful and to be patient. Keep her focused on her school work as she has been all along, and do not give her too much free time to think and remember how things used to be, or how they might have been.

I also pray Lord that this young man’s trip home this coming weekend will give him the opportunity to disconnect from the stress at school and his job and that you will give him the clarity to see what is truly going on in his life, either on his own or perhaps by talking to his father… (Facebook is sometimes a wonderful thing…)

Thank you also for the music that fills us up and helps us go on when we are not sure we can make it. It is yet another thing that You have marvelously created that allows us to feel in our hearts and minds those things we cannot express. I am grateful for making it all the way home before dissolving into tears. Please help me to find the words to comfort my daughter when I just don’t know what to say that hasn’t already been said.

Please hold close all of the parents here on CAF that have struggles of their own, some more serious than my own, but we all love you Lord and desire only to do what is Your will. Please look kindly upon all their intentions and grant them if it is possible. I ask this through the intercession of your Most Beloved Mother, Mary.

As I read your last post I am reminded of a time that I lost a very close boyfriend. We had been together for years. My parents really didn’t have any idea of how lonely and sad I was. I really needed them but they weren’t that kind of parents. Food, clothing and shelter were the priorities of the day. It is wonderful that your daughter has such a great mom. I know she will always remember the comfort you provide. It’s also good that she has returned to her friends. I remember feeling so lost because most of my friends had scattered and it had been too long since I spent any time with them. I really was alone. Things eventually worked out. I graduated and started a job. There I met my husband. Your daughter will be happy again, I am sure of it. God’s plan is beyond what we can imagine. I continue to pray for you and your daughter. Love and peace to you.

Theresa I so agree with your words here.Irishmom is being a splendid mother so in tune to her daughters feelings & showing such care.I too wish I had had the support from my parents at the breakdown of my relationship.Theresa & Irishmom you are both terrific mothers may God bless you both.

Irishmom how lucky your daughter is to have you at this most difficlut time in her life.With your support she will get through anything.As Theresa says God’s plan is beyond our imagination and also He works in mysterious ways.So we will keep praying .God bless

A rather disturbing event happened last night that involved my daughter and her ex-boyfriend which resulted in them at least seeing each other for a while. Someone had sort of threatened my daughter on-line and sent it to him. The matter was turned over to the police. He was clearly disturbed, afraid and concerned for my daughter, while still maintaining that they were not getting back together. When she asked him why he felt the need to tell her that again and again, he said that people have been telling him that he should. When she asked who specifically, the person named did not make sense, and my daughter does not believe it was that person, or that he misinterpreted what they said.

My daughter said he is a mess emotionally. His roommate who was there during all of it, has asked to speak with her later this week as he wants some advice about living with him. She apparently told him a different story than what the ex expresses and it all makes sense to the roommate now.

Lord, it is so very hard to know where this is going. It is disturbing and yet, I am unable to stop wondering if it is the mysterious work of Your hand in all of this. I pray that it is, because the alternative is just too frightening. As if the breakup wasn’t bad enough, to have this happen on top of it all is just sickening.

I plead with you Lord to watch over both of them and resolve their feelings of fear and the loneliness that they are both feeling. Protect them both from the enemies that neither of them thought they had until now. Guide them both to people they can trust to listen and help them in all their troubles.

I know that all I can do is take a deep breath and keep praying, but it is so upsetting.
