*Most holy Apostle, St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the **Church **honors and invokes you universally, as the patron of difficult cases, of things almost despaired of, Pray for me, I am so helpless and alone.
Intercede with God for me that He bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need that I may receive the consolation and help of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly for
**Nelson Burt **and that I may praise **God *with you and all the saints forever. I promise, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor granted me by God and to always honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to gratefully encourage devotion to you.
Amen

Hail Mary conceived without sin.

Lord, may you continue to guide and bless Nelson. I ask this through the intercession of Mama Mary.

Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Mother Mary, please intercede for Nelson. Grant him all the graces he needs to persevee in a state of grace. Help him to carry his crosses lovingly and patiently. Amen.

St. Jude

Dear Apostle and Martyr for Christ, you left us an Epistle in the New Testament. With good reason many invoke you when illness is at a desperate stage. We now recommend to your kindness to Nelson, who is in a critical condition. May the cure of this patient increase his faith and love for the Lord of Life, for the glory of our merciful God. Amen.

Thank You All. Nelson has made some improvement. He’s awake, and making contact with eyes. That’s a GOOD thing!

Hail Mary, full of grace.
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Thanks. Nelson was transferred from ICU at one hospital to the VA hospital. That tells me he was strong enough to be moved. I’ve lost my contact to Nelson’s daughter due to some kind of family dispute between her and her brother. I’m getting my info from a neighbor.

The prayers are working.

Continuing prayers for Nelson’s healing …

from today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Eternal priest and minister of the new covenant, you intercede for us always:
save your people who turn to you in prayer.
– You, Christ, are the king of glory.

Praying fr Nelson Burt…

*Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known
that any one who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help
or sought thy intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence,
We fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins my Mother;
to thee do we come, before thee we stand, sinful and sorrowful;
O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not our petitions,
but in thy mercy hear and answer them.

Amen.
