Pray for newborn baby Liam's surgery

A blessing was delivered unto the daughter of family friends and her husband, in the form of a baby boy, Liam. The baby was normal except that his intestinal tract had no exit point, necessitating emergency surgery to construct one. We pray, Dear Lord, that You will show Your mercy to this precious child and his parents, that he may not be burdened with a colostomy for the remainder of his life. We pray that our Heavenly Father may bless him with miraculous healing, and will guide the hands of the surgeons. We ask this through Christ, our Blessed Lord and Savior. Amen.
 
O Jesus, I firmly believe you are the Divine Healer and Phsician of all. Lord, we your humble servants come to you now with the needs of baby Liam. We pray that you guide the hands, hearts, and thoughts of these surgeons, so that they can completely correct this problem. We pray that you send a special angel for this family, straight from heaven, to give them strength during this ordeal. We pray this in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ. AMEN

Blessed be God! Apparently, baby Liam had enough muscle in the affected area that they will be able, with God’s help, to construct the needed anatomy. We continue to pray for the family and for this precious life. Thanks to all of you and God bless you.

update
I spoke with Grandma this evening. Prayers are still needed. Since the emergency surgery to construct an exit for baby Liam’s intestines, a stitch has pulled loose. This raised the spectre of a colostomy and necessitated a re-do of the stitches. He had to withdraw from feeding and have a feeding tube inserted (a la Terri Shiavo) into his esophagus for carefuly controlled nutrition. Of course, the feeding tube did nothing for his hunger pangs. At one point, he had 3 intravenous feeds as veins became stressed from the (name removed by moderator)ut of nutrition. He began to suffer kidney reflux. As of today, he is down to one I.V., but his kidneys are being watched carefully and he must re-learn the ability to nurse, since he has not been able to since the stitch came loose. In the middle of all this, they circumcised him. This is how his first twelve days have gone. It has been a faith wake-up call for the entire family. Dad has placed is a video of him on YouTube. God bless all who have prayed for him. He’s better, but still has some distance to go! The power of prayer is amazing. Praise God!
