Abuses? Of course - human nature - human history, but unless one detests the western civilization/medicine/industry which Christianity brought, I don’t get it either. Reparation should be made by those committing acts of violence, and to those against whom the violence was committed. I tend to think that victim and victimizer are both answering to the Divine Judge by now. Who then gets the reparations and why? $$$???
