Pray for Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani

My Fellow Members of Catholic Answers Forums.
Greetings to you all!
I am requesting for prayers for Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani.
All I know about this lady is what I read in the news media.
She is in prison somewhere in Iran awaiting death, possibly by stoning.
Every time I read about her, my heart just goes out to her.
This Sunday she was again mentioned in one the dailies here and her picture was
included. While looking at the picture on my way home from church it suddenly occurred to me that we can indeed do something. We can pray for this lady.
So please, let us pray for the pardon and release from prison of Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani.

Jesus, we pray for the release of Sakineh from prison.
 
What exactly was her “crime”? Regardless, I will pray for her.

From the news in the public domain, I gathered that the
allegation against her is connected somehow to John 8: 1-11

For those of you who are not familiar with John 8:1-11, here it is in the Douay Rheims Bible:

(John 8:1 DRB) And Jesus went unto mount Olivet.

(John 8:3 DRB) And the scribes and Pharisees bring unto him a woman taken in adultery: and they set her in the midst,
(John 8:4 DRB) And said to him: Master, this woman was even now taken in adultery.
(John 8:5 DRB) Now Moses in the law commanded us to stone such a one. But what sayest thou?
(John 8:6 DRB) And this they said tempting him, that they might accuse him. But Jesus bowing himself down, wrote with his finger on the ground.
(John 8:7 DRB) When therefore they continued asking him, he lifted up himself and said to them: He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

Is this woman going to be stoned for adultery or something?
