Pray for severely beaten, broken, blind infant on feeding tube and ventilator

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on earth as it as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive
those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us from evil.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou among women,and
blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us now, and
at the hour of our death.

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell,
lead all souls to heaven, especially, those in most need of Your Mercy.

I received a confusing update on Baby E. He now has a trach. They will discharge him in two weeks. I’m not sure if that means that they’ll discharge him because they are seeing improvement, or that they are sending him home to die. (If the latter, then I’m not sure why they’d wait two weeks). The trach is keeping him alive, but I don’t know why he had to have it. When I get a better update, I’ll come back and clarify.

Thank you all so much for the prayers. He sure needs them.

Update clarification: Baby E has a trach now in lieu of the ventilator; he “seems more comfortable” with the trach. With the trach, he is holding his own, and they want to send him home in a couple of weeks, with a 24/7 nurse.

Although we don’t know what will happen with him yet, now they are talking about him going home, whereas before they were saying he wouldn’t leave the hospital. He’s been steadily holding his own, with breathing help, and not worsening, and now they’re talking about him going home (to his foster family).

The trach probably makes for a more open airway, making breathing an easier job for his lungs. So the fact remains that he’s too weak to breathe on his own, and we need to pray that he grows stronger along with everything else.

Most Holy Father I ask you that you take your loving arms and wrap them around this precious child. And watch over the siblings please bring them comfort, warmth and know you are with them.

Update:

I will quote the latest news as I hear it from my cousin, the foster father trying to adopt all three siblings. It is saddening news:
Its rather disturbing as to why he has to have a trach. His brain has all but died. It is now the size of my little finger. Very minimal core brain function left. He is technically brain dead. Cant see, hear, feel, smell or anything.He basically went into respiratory arrest and was taken to ICU again on a ventilator. They can only keep the temporary tube through the mouth for so long before they have to either take him off the ventilator all together and let the Lord do his work or put a trach in and let him “live” via the ventilator. The sad part of the whole situation is the powers to be opted to go ahead with the trach knowing that he will not and cannot improve. As off yesterday when my wife and I went to visit and get trained on the trach the doctors said he should be released in two weeks. The only thing left for us to do is comfort his soul. I assure you we really do appreciate the prayers the baby is getting. It means the world to us. Thank you

Karen can Baby E not get emergency baptized in hospital right now?It is common practice for a priest to come to the hospital and baptise the baby in the Uk im sure its the same the world over.

St. Gerard, who, like the Savior, loved children so tenderly and by your prayers freed many from disease and even death, listen to us who are pleading for our sick child. We thank God for the great gift of this child (Baby E) and ask him to restore our child to health if such be his holy will. This favor, we beg of you through your love for all children and mothers. Amen.
