I cannot stop thinking about this poor baby who probably feels so unloved by this world. I hope his physical pain is being controlled and that he is not suffering. I pray he can make a recovery so that he will experience how much love is in the world.
I also pray for his foster family. This must be so emotionally draining on top of heart breaking. May God bless them and reward their generosity for bringing him into their family so that he can experience their loving care.
His biological parents really need our long-term prayers as well. They must have experienced a lot of suffering in order to end up at a point where they could inflict such cruelty on another living being–let alone an innocent newborn.
The medical staff tending to him must feel so powerless. May God grant them wisdom, strength, and patience.

Just stopping back to say thank you all so much for your continued prayers.
I will report back here when I have gotten word that Baby E has been baptized. If it were me, I’d have done it in the hospital when no one was looking. I’m as frustrated as you all must be. I’ve coaxed and persuaded, and have to consider this out of my hands now, but I do know that the baptism is in the works, if it hasn’t already happened. (I get news slightly later than everyone else, because I’m a distant cousin living three states away).
I would love to hold that little baby and make it all better, and show him nothing but love. I know how you all feel, who are upset by this. If he has any awareness at all at this point, he is enjoying being held and cuddled.
If a miracle is not God’s will for Baby E, we will have a saint in Heaven to pray to. I still pray for a miracle, though.
