I am posting this here mainly because this gets the most traffic:

I simply wanted to recommend that we all take time away from our normal posting and visit the :gopray: Prayer Intentions :gopray2: section more often (or for the first time.)

I am not about to assume who goes or does not, God bless you if you do and if you do not, but I think we should all get there at least once in a while and make it more of a habit. Even if you do not post prayers just offer a simple prayer that God hears the intentions…it is at your own volition!

Where two or more are gathered, right? :grouphug:

Despite all our differences…we still need prayers! :console:

🙂 Thanks! 🙂

I went to the 5:00 mass, (which I think is called the Vigil?) and this meets the Sunday obligation, I think. I am still going on Sunday anyway, but I offered prayers first for my transgressions, and for my sufferings to be united to Jesus for the cause of help to others like myself, and my family, then for the intentions of those here who I met who have helped me, and for the end of all abortions.
And, to be one day in unity with the Catholic Church.
Afterward, I went up to pray in front of Mary to ask her to help me teach my daughter to pray, as I am sure she taught Jesus to.

So, I have only posted on the prayer forum once now, but I still pray for people here, when I go to Mass.

Yes, the Saturday evening Mass is called a Vigil Mass and it does satisfy your “obligation”, although I am indifferent about that word. Your going on both days signifies your desire to be there instead of your “having to be there”. God bless you for that!

I still am in awe how the Lord has come into your life!

The baby Jesus did not teach Himself to pray!

This is what I am/was looking for! We do not necessarily have to be posting a prayer on here, but at least praying for those who come here and the intentions offered.

Thanks notsmart!

A little ray of hope amid the squabbling - thank you for this tGette,
God bless you.

Don’t hit me! This is just a reminder!

Yes, a wonderful thread idea. Might I also be so bold as to suggest prayer before Christ in the Blessed Sacrament? I have found this to be most efficacious, and have witnessed minor miracles there. Time spent with Christ - Priceless!

Christ’s peace.

Alleluia!

Being in front of the Blessed Sacrament transforms me every time!
I can be going through times of anxiety and I just shut my mouth and sit in awe before the God of the Universe and I become normal!

Very efficacious! What a great word!
