Prayer for a stranger

I work in a drugstore and we get all kinds of people in there. A lot of them just like to talk to a friendly face and one guy told me that he was returning to the hospital to see if his cancer had come back.

I don’t know his name and may not see him again; but it really made an impression on me. He was so worried that he confided in a total stranger about his life-threatening concern. l told him I would pray for him and I have been.

Please keep him in your prayers. Thanks.
 
Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.

I’m praying for this man…We show the true love of God flowing in our veins when we can have compassion for a stranger.

Lord in Heaven, look with Your immense compassion upon this soul, guiding him gently toward, if not greater faith, a solid belief in Your Goodness. In his hours of waiting, may his mind be occupied with the love that constantly flows from on high, for the benefit of all who will accept it. Graciously surround him with cancer patients who radiate faith and the love which is its foundation. Lead him to an increase in peace, and, in accordance with Your Divine Will, grant healing of mind, of body and of spirit. We ask this through Christ, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!
