Hail Mary, full of grace.
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death. Amen
 
*** Lord Jesus, once You called the first disciples in order to make them fishers of men. Continue to let resound today Your sweet invitation:

" Come and follow Me."

Grant to young men and women the grace of responding promptly to Your voice. Sustain our Bishops, priests and consecrated souls in their apostolic work. Give perseverance to our seminarians and to all who are fulfilling the ideal of a life of total consecration to Your service. Enkindle in our communities a missionary zeal. Send, Lord, workers into Your fields and do not let mankind be lost because of a lack of pastors, missionaries, and people dedicated to the cause of the Gospel. Mary, Mother of the Church, model of vocations, help us say “yes” to the Lord who calls us to collaborate in the divine design of salvation. Amen. †

A Prayer for Seminarians

Lord, enable these future priests to have a personality that is honest, and rich in virtue, in the semblance of Jesus Christ. Enable them to be men of God, and like Jesus, men for others.Instill in their hearts a real love for the Divine Word, for the Eucharist and for prayer, for the Church and for the doctrine of salvation that she preserves and faithfully proclaims.
Enable them, finally, in preparation for their future ministry, to be more holy every day. Amen.
 
PRAYER FOR SEMINARIANS

We praise you, merciful Father, for sending your Son into the world to free us from sin, and enrich us with the gifts of the Holy Spirit. To continue his mission he sent his apostles, the bearers of his love, to proclaim the Gospel to all peoples and offer believers new life through Baptism and the Eucharist.

Look kindly, Lord, on the men who train for the priesthood, especially in the mission churches. Inspire them with perseverance and courage so that they may reach their goal of ordination and continue the work of the apostles in today’s world.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

God the Father, I pray for all seminarians this day, and ask You to be with them as they discern their vocation to the priesthood. Have mercy on their foibles, shower them with love, be with them in temptations, give them wisdom, prudence, patience, kindness and n ability to speak to all, both young and old. May they be prayerful, always seeking Your will in all that they do. O God, we need more priests and we especially need priests who have inner strength, peace and dignity. Please grant them all the graces they need to be Your humble servants. Amen.

Prayer for Seminarians

Lord Jesus Christ, we pray for these men whom You have called to discern priesthood. We beg Your continued blessings on our Diocese and families. Call forth even more men of generous spirit and fervent love whom You desire for this holy work. Today, we remember in particular Tyborek and his fellow seminarians. Amen.
St. Joseph, pray for us.

Lead the seminarians daily in Your unerring footsteps; so that they may become priests who are models of purity, possessors of wisdom and heroes of sacrifice; steeped in humility and aflame with love for God and man; apostles of Your glory and sanctifiers of souls.

Amen.

Mary, Queen of the Clergy, pray for us.

Saint Charles Borromeo, pray for our seminarians.

O most Holy Spirit,
We ask that you inspire all teachers of our seminarians and the seminarians themselves
So that they may follow Your teachings closely and grow in love for both God and neighbour.
We truly need good shepherds to lead us in this world filled with sin and strife.
Please grant us the leaders we need. Guide their instructors and bishops. Protect all seminarians from error and immorality now and in their priestly lives.
For those who find themselves shunned by their superiors due to their fealty to your Church and her teachings,
Give them strength!
Give us all a great love for your Church.
This we pray through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Amen.

in your eternal plan of salvation,
you established a covenant
