THE PRAYER,
"EVERY DAY I NEED YOU LORD"

Every day I need you Lord
But this day especially,
I need some extra strength
To face whatever is to be.
This day more than any day
I need to feel you near,
To fortify my courage
And to overcome my fear.
By myself, I cannot meet
The challenge of the hour,
There are times when humans help,
But we need a higher power
To assist us bear what must be borne,
and so dear Lord, I pray,
Hold on to my trembling hand
And be near me today.

Amen.

I ask God to surround your daughters with His light and love.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now,
and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Usually, the addicted to drugs, are also addicted to alcohol and sex. And, vice versa.

The addicted to one thing, as they try to battle to control that addiction, suddenly shuffle their addiction to something else.

Lord, please help dispel the darkness of addictions…**

Loving God,

Please have mercy on all those suffering from addictions and behaviors that are not life giving, and help them to find their way with your son Jesus at their side and your Holy Spirit infusing your love into them each day to help them break old patterns of behavior and forge new healthy habits that honor and serve you and your people.
