Prayer for BIL Mike, and SIL Joanne

I would like to ask for prayers on behalf of my BIL Mike, who is fighting for his life with myelofibrosis, a debilitating bone disease from which, without a cure, gives him only 2-5 years of life. He is in his late 40’s, and has 3 children. Please pray that with God’s mercy, a cure will be found, and all suffering from this terrible disease, will find relief.

I would also like to pray for my SIL, Joanne, who is suffering from an unknown condition causing all muscles in her left eye to completely stop functioning. She too has 3 children, her youngest being only 4. I pray that with God’s mercy doctors will find out what is causing this condition and find a way to restore the use of her eye.

Loving Father, You have created Heaven and earth for us. You allow suffering to occur, that our hearts may be turned to You. From all eternity You brought forth Mike and Joanne as irreplaceable parts of Your Divine plan for man. As they are greatly tested in their afflictions, reveal Your mercy to them, both in those ministering to them, as well as in their purifying suffering. May the love of their children reflect Your Divine love for them, O Lord. As man’s imperfect knowledge advances, may healing and comfort be brought forth out of Your immense love of them. Since all things are possible to You, O Lord, we beg that You graciously incline Your ear to hear the intercession of Blessed Jesus, at Your Right Hand. As the petitions of the faithful rise to Your throne, carried by the Saints, may blessed comfort and relief be theirs. In the fullness of time, grant that their increasing faith and love of You will lead them to perfection of life in Your Eternal Kingdom. We ask this through the same Christ, our Divine Healer and Ambassador of love. Amen! Alleluia!

A most blessed and Spirit-filled Triduum and Easter to all.

Praying for both Mike and Joanne for relief from suffering and if God’s Wills to be cured of health problems…and praying too foryou and their families and friends at this time of stress and illness…

I will keep you in my prayers today at Mass.

Lord, please guide the hands of the researchers and doctors. Give your Grace to them so that these diseases may be cured. Fill them with the knowledge they need. In the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

May God’s peace and your Faith in God sustain you.

Hello again friends, Mike is going in for further testing tomorrow, to determine if the treatment has made any progress for him. Please join me in prayer that there are some positive results tomorrow.
Joanne started to make some progress with her eye (the eyelid at least was opening for her) on the last day of treatment. She’s on powerful pain medication to alleviate some of the horrible headaches that are accompanying the mysterious eye problem - and has started treatment again to attempt to regain muscle control in the eye. Please continue to pray for her, also.

Thank you all so much, I hold you all close in my prayers each day. May God’s love be always with you.
 
Lord, our lives are a Lenten journey. Grant us the peace and joy of desiring blessed healing in You. Continue to look with great love upon Your creations Mike and Joanne, healing them in perfect accordance with Your Divine Will. Grant that they offer their suffering up to our Risen Lord Jesus as a penance, calling many graces down upon them. As we continue to pray, we ask Christ Jesus to intercede on their behalf. Lord, have mercy. Christ, have mercy. Lord, have mercy. Amen! Alleluia!
 
Praying for total healing of Mike and Joanne.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
