Worried, how can you add a single moment to the span of your life by worry? Have faith, confidence and trust in the Lord. Tell your husband that you will not kill their daughter. Be firm. Do not back off. And all of this is coming from him, whom I assume had something to do with your pregnancy? I am ashamed to be a man!
Merciful Lord, let not man put asunder that blessed work which You alone have accomplished in the womb of this fearful child. As You assured Mary of the righteousness of the child to be conceived within her, assure Worried that the child she carries is as deserving of life as any who ever trod this earth. Graciously soften the heart of her husband, gently reminding him of the solemn vows of love he made before you and earthly witnesses. Fill his heart with Your Holy Spirit, that he may come to love, even cherish this child, which is the miracle of two fleshes becoming one. Speak to his conscience of the horror of killing in all of it’s ghastly forms. In your mercy, impress upon him that he would not marry a murderer, and did not! Father, we place this spirit in crisis in Your loving Hands, trusting You, O Ancient One, Who have cared for all generations. We humbly as that You grant this through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!
