I’m sorry I’ve been out of communication for quite awhile but my clinical depression meds quit working like they used to and it has taken several months and a few changes and tweaking of dosages to get back to feeling normal again. For the longest time after being almost useless for nearly a whole weekend, I got up to being barely functional and had very little ambition for more than the bare necessities.
My wife and I have continued counseling and have solved other issues as we await the resolution to my being able to convert. The Bishop of our diocese has granted the chance to meet him to discuss the possibility of a dispensation from the usual process of notification of her ex regarding the initiating of a process of annulment of her first marriage. However, there have been a couple of times where scheduling conflicts have kept us from getting a date set on the Bishop’s calendar. The time between his scheduling sessions is quite lengthy so we await another offer of a time, and try to wait patiently as hard as that is. I feel selfish in asking for prayers given the greater needs of others, but any and all help is sure appreciated. I do long for the day when I can “come home.”
O Lord, Holy Father, omnipotent and eternal God, I give You thanks and I bless Your holy name. I know I’m a poor miserable sinner but hear a cause that is just, pay heed to my cry, turn your ear to my prayer, no deceit is on my lips. Amen
For your intentions
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Lord Jesus, hear our prayers. Amen
