Prayer for fallen away Catholic family Members

Today is the Feast Day of Saint Monica, and tomorrow is Saint Augustine.
Intercessions;
Through the intercession of Saint Monica and all the holy women of faith, let us pray for the Church;
*R~ * Answer on the day we call!

For all parents who suffer anxiety because of their children’s decisions:
-strengthen them in prayer and hope R~

For all who have abandoned the Catholic Faith of their childhood:
-lead them into the light of truth R~

For all who have died far from family and loved ones:
    • bring them into the joy of your household in heaven R~
Saint Monica’s holiness shines as a light among women. through her intercession, let us pray in faith:

*R~ *Lift up the lowly , O Lord.

For all Christians married to nonbelievers as Saint Monica was:
  • Keep them firm in faith and make them strong in holiness.
For all parents who seek to raise their children in the faith of Jesus Christ:
  • grant that their love may bear fruit
For all who devote themselves to a life of prayer and good works:
  • sustain them in zeal and contentment

O God of all kindness, strength of those who weep, you gathered up with love Saint Monica’s tears for the conversion of her son, Augustine; through the power of their prayer, grant to us all the grace to know how to weep for our sins, to seek out those who stray with our prayers, and to come before you as one in the kingdom won for us by your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever. Amen

On this, your feastday, dear St. Monica, we beg your intercession for all our fallen away family and friends. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, Our Lord. Amen.

troubled wife and mother,
many sorrows pierced your heart during your lifetime.
Yet, you never despaired or lost faith.
With confidence, persistence, and profound faith,
you prayed daily for the conversion
of your beloved husband, Patricius,
and your beloved son, Augustine;
your prayers were answered.
Grant to us that same fortitude, patience,
and trust in the Lord.
Intercede for us, dear St. Monica,
that God may favorably hear our pleas
for all non practising Catholics
and those discerning conversion to Catholicism,
for our families, including mine, for increase of faith for us,
especially all in this thread. Amen ****
 
Father in heaven have compassion on the desires of all parents, and all on this thread, who long for their children, or their spouses, or their siblings, to return to You and to the Church.
Have compassion on my family.

We know how helpless we are when it comes to bringing our family members back to the true faith. Only God can give them the necessary graces. Please dear St Monica, would you whisper in Christ's ear that there are many of us here at CA who are pleading every day for God's special graces.
