Troubled wife and mother,
many sorrows pierced your heart during your lifetime.
Yet, you never despaired or lost faith.
With confidence, persistence, and profound faith,
you prayed daily for the conversion
of your beloved husband, Patricius,
and your beloved son, Augustine;
your prayers were answered.
Grant to us that same fortitude, patience,

Dear Lord,

I pray that a young person that goes to the Catholic church in my daughter’s city reaches out to her and invites her to an outing, bible study etc…that the church is sponsoring. She is trying to find her way Lord, but is going the way.

Please hear all the prayers asked on this board and bless all those people who are so desperately praying for their loved ones to return to the Church and the sacraments.

and ever growing in knowledge of You.

Strengthen this lost lamb, dear Lord,
with every power of Your Holy Spirit,

Make Your child fit to share in the inheritance of the holy ones in the Light.
Deliver this beloved one from the power of darkness

in whom is redemption and the forgiveness of sins.

Exemplary Mother of the great Augustine, you perseveringly pursued your wayward son not with wild threats but with prayerful cries to heaven.
Intercede for all mothers in our day so that they may learn to draw their children to God. Teach them how to remain close to their children, even the prodigal sons and daughters who have sadly gone astray. Amen.

Please Pray for our brothers and sisters who have been led astray by the Church.

Please Pray for a very good friend of mine who was deeply hurt by a fellow Catholic and for all of those who were hurt by fellow Catholic’s or the Catholic Church. Let us also Pray for those who cause harm or hurtful words… Amen.
