I’m not sure if a thread has been started for the people and country of Haiti, but if not, I would like to start one.
Heavenly Father please be near to all those in Haiti. Bring help to those still trapped in the rubble, doctor to tend to the injuries of so many, comfort to the many grieving families and food/water and necessary supplies to those in need of basic necessities. Lord give wisdom to all who are directing and in charge of helping. Send Your Holy angels to be present and surround this island country with Your love, protection and care. We pray in the name of Jesus, amen.

Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come;
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.

Loving God,

We lift up in prayer the intentions for all the people of Haiti who have been devastated by this disaster and ask for your mercy and blessings on those who survived. We also pray for the repose of the soul of all the dear people who died in this tragedy, and ask for your mercy and comfort for their souls as they join you in your heavenly home. We also pray that the people of the world will join together to provide resources, help, and support as the people of Haiti begin the very difficult work of rescue, rebuilding, and stabilizing the situation. May the people of the world be most generous during this time of need, in prayer, financial resources, and time & talent.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.

Amen.

The looting and violence has begun. Praying for these poor souls …

Hail Mary,
full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

A PRAYER IN TIME OF EARTHQUAKE OR FLOOD

O God, Who hast established the earth upon firm foundations, and given the rivers their course, graciously receive the prayers of Thy people: and, having utterly removed the dangers of the shaken earth, and dangerous waters, turn the terrors of Thy Divine wrath into the means of the salvation of mankind; that they who are of the earth, and unto earth shall return, may rejoice to find themselves citizens of Heaven by means of a holy life. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Regard, O Lord, our humility and forsake us not in this time of tribulation.

I deserve to suffer these things, O Lord, for I have sinned.

Despise not, Almighty God, Thy people who cry out to Thee in their affliction, but for the glory of Thy Name, being appeased assist those who ar in tribulation. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come;
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Continuing our prayers for those who have died and those suffering there now with so many needs. May the work of Holy Spirit move through those sent to help. Please give them great wisdom in the organizing and care of those suffering. May Your Light shine in this situation, turning that which is horrible to be redeemed by You through your children. In Jesus name we all pray, amen.

Praying…

Eternal Father, we offer you the Body, Blood, Soul, And Divinity of your dearly beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world. Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, for the sake of his sorrowful Passion have mercy on us and on the whole world. Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion is inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and upon the people in Haiti and increase your mercy in us, that, in difficult moments, we might not despair nor become despondent but, with great confidence, submit ourselves to your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself.

Divine Mercy Prayer

A Novena Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Sacred Heart of Jesus, we know that there is but one thing impossible to You: to be without pity for those who are in suffering or distress. Look down on us, we beg of You and grant us the grace which we humbly and earnestly implore, through the Immaculate Heart of Your most sorrowful Mother to whom You confided us as her children, and whose prayers are all powerful with You. Amen.

Lord heavenly Father, please grant comfort and strength to those suffering from the recent earthquake in Haiti. Also, please guide and watch over the workers and other personell working diligently to rescue and provide care and comfort to the innocent. This and all other petitions we ask in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God now and forever, Amen.

thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us;

Our God the loss of life, the injuries, the trauma, the desperation and the lose of homes and income, and the huge task of rescuing, feeding, sheltering these many people is beyond comprehension. You know each person, their desperation, their needs and their fears. Please take each one into Your care.
Please guide the rescue and recovery and the rebuilding of infrastructure and buildings in this ravaged land.
Have mercy, Father God, in the name of Your divine Son Jesus
