***Divine Mercy
Eternal God,
in whom mercy is endless
and the treasury of compassion
  • inexhaustible,
    look kindly upon us
    and increase Your mercy in us,
    that in difficult moments
    we might not despair
    nor become despondent,
    but with great confidence
    submit ourselves to Your holy will,
    which is Love and Mercy itself.
Amen***

Loving God,

We lift up in prayer the intentions for all the people of Haiti who have been devastated by this disaster and ask for your mercy and blessings on those who survived. We also pray for the repose of the soul of all the dear people who died in this tragedy, and ask for your mercy and comfort for their souls as they join you in your heavenly home. We also pray that the people of the world will join together to provide resources, help, and support as the people of Haiti begin the very difficult work of rescue, rebuilding, and stabilizing the situation. May the people of the world be most generous during this time of need, in prayer, financial resources, and time & talent.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.

Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come;
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.

Lord, may Your redemptive Hand move throughout Haiti in bringing good out of such pain and suffering. In the most Holy Name of Jesus we pray, amen.

Lord this disaster is devastating and many people are affected.Please help all those affected
and heal these people.Amen

A Novena Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Sacred Heart of Jesus, we know that there is but one thing impossible to You: to be without pity for those who are in suffering or distress. Look down on us, we beg of You and grant us the grace which we humbly and earnestly implore, through the Immaculate Heart of Your most sorrowful Mother to whom You confided us as her children, and whose prayers are all powerful with You. Amen.

Heavenly Father, the loss of life, the injuries, the trauma, the desperation and the lose of homes and income, and the huge task of rescuing, feeding, sheltering these many people is beyond comprehension. You know each person, their desperation, their needs and their fears. Please take each one into Your care.
Please guide the rescue and recovery and the rebuilding of infrastructure and buildings in this ravaged land.
Father in the name of Your divine Son Jesus please have mercy on all Haitians in this awful calamity.

Glory be to The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be
World without end

Amen

*Continuing to pray for all those hurt by the disaster in Haiti…and for the repose of those killed during the earthquake.

Hail Mary, full of grace
The Lord is with thee
Blessed art thou, amongst women
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus
Holy Mary, Mother of God
Pray for us, sinners
Now and at the hour of our death
Amen :gopray:*

It’s a nightmare for them Lord. Just to think what it must have been like during the earthquakes and tremors, and now in the desperate survival battle, and people not knowing where loved ones are and if safe. I live in a city of the same population as they had. If it had occurred around our suburbs!
Help us all to do as much as we can and to pray as much as we can for them Lord. Help these people to rebuild their lives, their homes, their businesses. Help them to maintain their sense of being loved children of God, which humanly speaking is difficult in their trauma and suffering. Jesus please walk amongst them with Your grace and in the help they receive from each other and the world.
Thank You, Lord, and thank You for Your Spirit of love in those who go to the aid of the injured and the survivors.

I’m not sure if a thread has been started for the people and country of Haiti, but if not, I would like to start one.
Heavenly Father please be near to all those in Haiti. Bring help to those still trapped in the rubble, doctor to tend to the injuries of so many, comfort to the many grieving families and food/water and necessary supplies to those in need of basic necessities. Lord give wisdom to all who are directing and in charge of helping. Send Your Holy angels to be present and surround this island country with Your love, protection and care. We pray in the name of Jesus, amen.
