Prayer for help

Please pray for me as I try to answer a friend’s request to help her in her spiritual journey. She hasn’t any denominational affiliation and I don’t want to be too pushy but, since I am a strong Catholic, I will obviously approach it from that angle. Of course, it would be wonderful if she found herself moving toward the Catholic Church but, God’s will be done. Thank you for your prayer support.

Shine your brilliant light upon her life, that she may clearly see the path. Pour out your love upon her Lord, that she may turn her faith to you, as one turns their face to the warmth of the sun on a cold winter day. Walk with her Lord, on her journey to find truth, that she may find it where it has always been, in your eternal Glory.

Diana Lynn, you truly have a gift for prayer. I am so often at a loss for words, but you always shine forth such beautiful, poetic prayers. Just wanted to say ‘thank you’ for inspiring me and I’m sure many others on the forum!

tami(name removed by moderator), your faith-filled life will be a shining example to her. A mass invitation will be in order when you know the time is right. Until then, I would say to just de-fuse the misinformation she has heard about the faith.

Merciful Lord, You created every heart. You alone sustain us through each and every trial. We turn to You in faith and trust, that if we are found worthy, we might lead souls home to you. Graciously guide tami(name removed by moderator) by the gift of Your Holy Spirit, that she will know the words to say, and the loving actions to take in revealing the fulness of redemption made available through the church founded by Your Beloved Son. Lord, You love a seeking heart, and have provided tami(name removed by moderator) with just such a soul in her life. May Your Divine Will be done in leading this precious soul to all truth, with charity and compassion. We ask this through Christ, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen.
