Well, it’s official. I handed in my resignation and I’ll be moving to Virginia (and Mr. Jefferson’s University) at the end of June.

There is so much to do–so many ends to tie up. Friends (and family) to say ‘goodbye’ to.

The first time I’ll be ‘on my own’ (as the last child is leaving the nest as I head south) since college.

Please pray that what God wills is done by me–joyfully, unreservedly, and wholeheartedly–for the rest of my life.

May God be with you in your move, and
“Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit…” in your life in Viginia.
Trishie 🙂

May God guide you safely to Virginia,
and bless many people with a new friend
in Christ!

God Bless,
Pam

Lord of Love and Compassion, You conceived of Tantum ergo from all eternity as an irreplaceable part of Your Divine Plan. You alone have provided sustenance each day of Tantum ergo’s life and are even now sending forth Heavenly Graces. See the humble and obedient heart, in imitation of the Sacred Heart of Your Blessed Son, Jesus. Graciously watch over this move, keeping Tantum ergo safe and secure. Send a palpable presence of both our Lord Jesus and the guidance of Your Holy Spirit to make this move a wondrous and spiritual event. That Your Will be done is the request, and is our prayer. We ask this through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!

May God bless you and keep you safe in your journey. May God lead you to many new friends and a wonderful new church family. God Bless You…keeping you in my prayers.
Diane

Thank you all so much–please keep the prayers coming. I am about to sign off now and will be packing the computer away tonight.

If anybody is awake around 8 a.m. tomorrow please see a prayer as my journey starts for the Old Dominion.

And if you would, prayers for my daughter as well as she has just signed a lease for an apartment (residential care, she is disabled) here in Vermont–we’re about to make our separate lives now for the first time and are both excited and happy for each other yet still sad at missing each other’s company . . .

And ditto for my mother, whose own move to her residential living is slated for the end of August, who has also been with me and my children for several years and who also is excited yet sad at our all being ‘apart’ after so long. . .

God bless you all and may St. Peter, St. Paul, and our Blessed Mother keep all of you and bring you all safely to our Risen Lord and Savior.
