Prayer for parents

Father, in Jesus’ name, please help mlz’s parents during their moving process, while they sell their house and make this major move from the home where they have spent so many years. Please comfort them and their children as they process the memories shared in that house.
Please grant them a happy future in their new home.

Our Father Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us;
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent,
but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will,
which is love and mercy itself. Amen

Father, as these cherished parents make this transition in their lives, we beseech You to breathe Your Holy Spirit upon them, drawing them ever nearer to the Sacred Heart of Your only Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Fill their hearts with love, using this change in their lives to rekindle their warmth for one other as well as for those who surround them. Grant this through the same Lord Jesus Christ, Who lives and reigns with You, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!

We beseech You that, while time for them remains, You draw the hearts of these beloved parents ever closer to the Sacred Heart of our Savior Jesus Christ. In Him, may they find spiritual comfort and eternal peace. I want to thank all you precious people who have lifted and continue to lift my parents up in prayer!!! It touches me, but more importantly it touches the Lord’s heart. Your care and concern for people you don’t even know is special. I see Christ in all of you:)

My parents are doing better than I thought they would. There are times that are difficult and they may have more of these times, however they are seeming more energetic and positive. For this I thank the Lord!!! I’m praying now for them to be able to sell their house as it is depleting their income and they will need the sale to help pay for where they are staying.

Our God we know these are dificult economic times but could we ask You to please arrange that there is a buyer for the home soon.
