Prayer for police officer now, please

I just found this link about his funeral and memorial comments. Sweet article. On the news the other night, there was a lot said about his work with school kids in gang areas. One young man who was interviewed said that Smith had gotten him out of a gang.
 
This happened to a friend of mine many years ago. It is so sad that we live in such a fallen world where people kill people they don’t even know for senseless reasons. Bless this man’s family, and don’t let us forget to pray for those lost souls involved in gangs and drugs who need Gods intervention to realize the gravity of their sins.
Praying for this officer. God rest his soul.
 
Rest in peace, brother. Lord, watch over and comfort his family and friends.
