Oh Jesus Eternal Priest
Keep your priests within the shelter of your Sacred Heart, Keep unstained, their anointed hands which daily touch your Sacred Body, keep unsullied, their lips purpled with your precious blood, keep pure and holy their hearts, sealed with the sublime mark of your glorious priesthood. Let your holy love surround them and shield them for the worlds corruption. Let your hold wisdom give them courage to promote to their brother priests and to all, to pray the holy rosary daily, to bring them all closer to your Holy Mother, and defend them from the assault of Hell, Bless their labours with abundant fruit
Amen

Father in Heaven, we lift your servant priests up to You, seeking that grace upon grace be given them. Through their blessed hands Your only Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is made present to us. Through their ministry of love our sins are forgiven, reconciling us to You. Graciously sustain Your priests in love, granting them the perseverance to withstand the ingratitude and trials brought upon them by each of us. Send them Your Holy Spirit, that their lips might speak the words of truth and love to all who listen. To the ends of this earth we pray that You call out to many young men, causing them to reflect in their hearts on the eternal vocation which has been prepared for them. Grant this through the perfect intercession of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who is Priest, Prophet and King for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!.

Prayer for Priests

Almighty Father, grant to these servants of Yours the dignity
of the priesthood. Renew within them the Spirit of holiness.
As co-workers with the order of bishops may they be faithful
to the ministry that they receive from You, Lord God, and be
to others a model of right conduct.

May they be faithful in spreading the good news, so that the
words of the Gospel may reach the ends of the earth, and the
family of nations, made one in Christ, may become God’s one,
holy people.

Amen.

A Prayer for Priests

Divine Saviour, Jesus Christ, Who have entrusted your work of redemption to the priests, Who take your place on earth, I offer You, through the hands of Your most holy Mother, for the sanctification of Your priests and future priests this whole day, all my prayers, works, joys, sacrifices and sufferings. Give us saintly priests. Grant to them apostolic hearts, filled with love for You and all the souls belonging to You, so that, being themselves sanctified in You, they may sanctify us who are entrusted to their care and bring us safely into Heaven.
Loving Jesus, bless all their priestly work and sacrifice. Bless all their prayers and words at the altar and in the confessional, in the pulpit, in the school and at the sickbed. Call many young men to the priesthood and the monastic life. Protect and sanctify all who will become Your priests. And grant to the souls of the priests who have departed this life, eternal rest.
And do you, Mary, Mother of all priests, take them under your special protection and lead them ever to the highest priestly sanctity. Amen.

St. John Vianney, pray for our Priests, pray for us. Amen.

St. Padre Pio, pray for our Priests, Pray for us. Amen.

Father, we ask this day that Your Divine blessing be upon your servant Priests on earth. Strengthen them and allow those whom they serve to return love for love. Comfort them, O Heavenly Father, with graces that will sustain them through each and every test of this life. May the good that they do store up treasure for them in Your Kingdom. It is through the ministration of their hands that Your Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, is made present to us. As we thank them for their service, let us also love and serve them in return, in emulation of Jesus’ example to us all. Grant this through the perfect intercession of the same Lord Jesus Christ, Who lives and reigns with You, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!

Prayer for Priests
O almighty and eternal God, look upon the face of Thy Christ, and for love of Him who is the eternal High Priest, have mercy on Your priests. Remember, O most compassionate God, that they are but weak and frail human beings. Stir up in them the grace of their own vocation which is in them by the imposition of the Bishop’s hands. Keep them close to You, lest the enemy prevail against them, so that they may never do anything in the slightest degree unworthy of their sublime calling.
O Jesus, I pray You to help your faithful and fervent priests; for Your unfaithful and lukewarm priests, for Your priests laboring at home and abroad in distant mission fields; for Your tempted priests; for Your lonely and desolate priests; for Your young priests; for Your aged priests and for Your sick priests.
But especially I commend to you the priests dearest to me: the priest who baptized me, the priests who have given me the precious Body and Blood of Jesus in Holy Communion; the priests who taught and instructed me or helped and encouraged me and all the priests to whom I am indebted in any other way.
O Jesus, keep them all close to Your heart and bless them abundantly both now and in eternity.
Amen.
