This is such a tragedy all around. I know they don’t share our faith, but they need our prayers. This mother has lost her son in a most horrific way. I can’t imagine the extent of her grief. Even the other people in the store will have been traumatised by this.

**Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of his sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

May the Light of Your Love shine into their hearts and turn them to You.**

A MAN beheaded his 15-month-old nephew in front of his mother in a supermarket in Saudi Arabia apparently after a family dispute, newspapers reported.

The 25-year-old Syrian national picked up a knife from the store in the Red Sea city of Jeddah yesterday and decapitated the little boy in full view of shoppers, Arab News said.

Merciful Lord, You love these souls no less than our own. In Your Magnificence, have mercy upon the soul of the child, taking him home to Your cradling arms. You alone have mercy upon those who commit the evil of this world because of the temptations of the evil one. May Your Divine Mercy be upon the mother of the child, those poor souls who watched in horror, and upon t he one who accomplished this evil. Lord, we trust You to see that Justice is done, and we pray that Your mercy will prevail, for Your ways are so far above our own. We ask this through Christ, our Lord, Who sits at Your Right Hand. What a sad thing to happen to a Parent
May the soul of this child and the souls of all the faithfully departed, rest in peace Amen

:gopray: Father God I don’t know what to say in light of such a senseless tragedy, such venom coming in attack of innocence. Lord I don’t understand the world as it is. I don’t get it. I praise You that You are above this and beyond this. I ask for pray and mercy on the mother and I pray for the little boys soul. Comfort the mother and allow justice to rain down on the uncle.
