Prayer Request for Luke

Hi All:

Please say a prayer for my nephew Luke who is 12. He had a massive stroke yesterday. He survived the night last night but is still in danger and in need of prayer for both him and his parents.

It always a shock to hear of someone so young suffering such a serious health issue.
I’ll pray for Luke, his parents, and you all at this weeks Masses. I don’t know if your family had any warning but can only imagine the distress and anxiety you all feel for Luke.

Our God, let Your mercy be on them as they place their trust in You. Please guide Luke’s doctors to do everything possible to restore this young boy to health and wholeness.
Please surround the family with Your healing light and love.

Please grant all involved in this difficult and hard to understand situation the gifts of strong faith, hope, and the ability to love one another through this crisis. Please also bless the medical community and aides that tend to this young one with great competence and compassion in their ministry.

Dear Lord i ask You to heal dear Luke.Please spare his life and grant the doctors treating him will have the knowledge required to treat him according to Your will.Please comfort his anxious and worried family.Amen

Lord, look upon Luke with eyes of mercy, may your healing hand rest upon him, may your lifegiving powers flow into every cell of his body and into the depths of his soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring him to wholeness and strength for service in your Kingdom. Amen.

Thank you all for your prayers - Luke was beginning to show signs of recognizing people yesterday but is unable to communicate and the right side of his body is affected. We are grateful that he is still with us and we pray that he will be able to recover.

Thank you for the update, catholicmom2010. Will continue to keep this dear 12 year old, his family, friends & medical workers in my prayers.
