RLThunder, you have my prayers, adn welcome!

Please pray for me and my husband as we undertake marriage counseling to resolve several difficult issues.
 
Please pray for a personal issue. I won’t get into it except to say that it is a heart issue(emotional) with someone I know and it is hurting me greatly.

I understand emotional pain mom, all too well. You have my prayers as well as everyone else who has been posting! I’m reading them and keeping you all in my heart and prayers.

Just to let you guys know, a few hours ago I was at our lovely little Shrine to Our Lady Help of Christians - attached to my local church - for the monthly Rosary and Mass that they have there, so I took everyone’s intentions on this thread to Our Lady

This’d be her statue as it is at the shrine, just so you know what she looks like 🙂 She’s patroness of Australia, which is why she’s standing on a map of our fine country 😉

Don’t tell me the picture isn’t coming up - I previewed before I posted to make sure that it would, but it appears not to be coming up :crying:
 
OH MANNN :o

There I was sitting down in Mass in the middle of a good homily - all of a sudden I realised I’d left a pot of water boiling on the stove at home. I’d meant to put some pasta on before I left but got distracted and never got round to it … completely forgot and left the pot on and the stove running :o

Classic disaster scenario right … so I blessed myself and raced out of the church, I could see the priest looking at me wondering what was up … raced all the way back home praying fervently all the way (about 15 minutes) … only to find that because there was a fair amount of water in the pot it had only just boiled dry and only one blackish spot on the bottom of the pot … not even smoky or anything.

Thank you Jesus, thank you Our Lady, thank you St Michael and all the saints and angels … thank you whoever the patron saint is of forgetful people :o … thank you thank you thank you :gopray2: :gopray2:

Extra big donation in the collection plate when I go back for the later mass in a couple of hours.
 
Thank you for those who prayed for me. I went in and made my first confession today. I cried (a lot) but I made it through. I am so grateful for confession; I feel like a weight has been lifted off of me.

Way to go Mylo!!! Congratulations :clapping: :clapping:

Meltdown? Who me? :nope: well, something like that … I had visions of ‘The Towering Inferno’, but the praying did help me to keep my cool. That and the fact that I’m well insured :yup:

Oh well … me AND the pot then 😃 … but the pot will probably be fine after a good soak and scrub, as will I 😃
 
Hey peeps

Just got off the phone with my sister who’s a doctor - she has a patient who’s in a whole lot of trouble, medically, emotionally, legally as well … lots of prayers for her and the patient please - and for me that I can give her some decent advice, or at least moral support. :gopray2: :gopray2:

Everyone on CAF is remembered every day in my rosary and daily mass.
 
Please pray for:
QuicumqueVult’s Father who is gravely ill and Mother who has breast cancer.
 
Please pray for a dear friend who has given in to despair and temptation.

That would be fantastic! I am actually accepted into the seminary but have not moved in until I can find a solution to my situation. I just received and email from Father and I can begin classes immediately and move in some time in the future. I had a scare with my Mom the other day but all is OK now! Please include her in your prayers…

I’m in need of intercession, I’m trying to deal with severe depression and losing my job. I need help, more then what Drs. are doing. They seem to be making it worse, by missing work…Prayers for the Spirit are needed, thanks Tim

WOW, Praise God, Thank you Lord Jesus for answering this prayer, His helper has been so evident in my life the last few days. I thank all who asked for intersession and Thanks be to God and our Lord Jesus Christ. 🙂
