For everyone in post 77, and those I have forgotten to include.

Oh, gentle heart of Jesus, ever-present in the Blessed Sacrament, ever consumed with burning love for the poor captive souls in purgatory, have mercy on them.

Be not severe in Your judgments, but let some drops of Your precious blood fall upon the devouring flames.

And, Merciful Savior, send Your angels to conduct them to a place of refreshment, light, and peace.

Amen.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world. x10

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

For the souls of the father of @UpUpAndAway, Elaine, mother of @GladTidings and Helen, mother of @Margaret_Ann.

Eternal rest grant unto Up’s father, Elaine and Helen, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the soul of Elaine, the soul of Helen, and the souls of our faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

For all those in post 77, and anyone else I have known but have forgotten. Also, for those who do not have anyone to pray for them.

Something like, “Purgatory prayer requests. Please add names and help pray.”

How do you know who goes to Purgatory? Adding names seems to be presumptuous.

Ugh. That’s a good point. As a convert who fell asleep for a while, I do not always know what I’m doing. I’ll ask @Margaret_Ann to change it, please. Thanks!

OK, I fixed the title again. However, you may want to refresh your phone or page on your computer because the original title comes up when you put @ and then my name. I refreshed my phone too.

For people we knew who have died, who are in purgatory at this very moment, or maybe not, we really have no way of knowing. Especially for our loved ones who, likewise, very well could be in the realm, or whatever, of purgatory. Again, we do not know for sure, but we continue to pray just in case.

Oh, gentle heart of Jesus, ever-present in the Blessed Sacrament, ever consumed with burning love for the poor captive souls in purgatory, have mercy on them.

Be not severe in Your judgment, but let some drops of Your precious blood fall upon the devouring flames. And, merciful Savior, send Your angels to conduct them to a place of refreshment, light, and peace.

For those we knew who have died and could be in purgatory, including those we loved very much. Although we do not know if they are in purgatory or not, we continue to pray for them just in case.

Especially for those who definitely are in purgatory at this moment, we humbly pray:

Oh, gentle heart of Jesus, ever-present in the Blessed Sacrament, ever consumed with burning love for the poor captive souls in purgatory, have mercy on them.

Be not severe in Your judgments, but let some drops of Your precious blood fall upon the devouring flames.

And, merciful Savior, send Your angels to conduct them to a place of refreshment, light, and peace.

Amen.

For those who are experiencing the loving, cleansing flames of purgatory. Including loved ones, and anyone else we have personally known in life. Also, for those who do not have anyone to pray for them.

Eternal Father, I offer Thee the merits of the Precious Blood of Jesus, Thy beloved Son, my Savior and my God, for all those who are to pass this day to the other life, that Thou wouldst deliver them from the pains of hell, and admit them with all speed to the possession of Thy glory. --And for all the souls in Purgatory…
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.
Blessed and praised for evermore be Jesus, who hath saved us with His Blood!
