Mom is doing great today. She’s home from the hospital, sitting out on her deck and working crossword puzzels and visiting with my kids. I’ve never seen anyone recover so quickly in my life. She doesn’t feel up to shopping today, though!😉 I wouldn’t let her go, anyway. Thank you all for your prayers- I really think that they helped a lot.
 
I need some special prayer requests please:
  1. for my good friend’s mother who went back into surgery due to a serious infection after her triple bypass. I pray that she recovers quickly and is pain free.
  2. for my grandmother and my parents. grandma’s dementia is getting really bad and my folks are having a tough time dealing with her. I pray for patience and understanding.
  3. for myself. My crohn’s is acting up and my fistula has reopened on my ostomy so the GI is trying a new treatment, Humira shots for a yr. If that doesn’t work, surgery may be necessary (I don’t want it since I’ve had so many in the past-- so I really need a miracle). I pray that the treatment works w/o any serious side effects. Also, for a court date for my disability case. It’s been 2 yrs. & I’m still waiting. Money is tight for us & I’m having to juggle which doctor’s appt. and treatment needs attention more & putting off the lesser until we have the extra $.
  4. for my husband. he’s been working on his days off to pay my bills and he really needs some down time for himself. he won’t even take vacation time that he has just so he can take care of me. I pray that he slows down and leaves our needs in God’s hands.
I’m praying for all intentions here. May God bless everyone during this holiday weekend. 🙂

Please also pray for the priests of St Dominic’s in Mississauga, St Stephen’s and St Michael’s in Toronto.
Heavenly Father I offer a prayer of thanks for alleviating my pain and for giving me the next steps in finding work, for the sense of peace and reassurance in Your Presence and Guidance. To You be all praise and glory. Thank you. Amen.

I have important and difficult prayer intention please pray for me and for my family. We are dealing with serious financial issues. Also please pray for my husband, he is under a great deal of stress over this. I am worried about him.

Prayers also for my brother who is dealing with diagnosis of cancer.

Prayers for my daughters epilepsy.

Prayers for the decision to find a more orthodox parish, the sadness of leaving behind friends.

Prayers for Fr. Dan and and coming to terms with being a diabetic.

Prayers for everyone on CAF and their intentions.

Dear Lord, please lift the hearts of those who suffer in pain physically and emotionally. Amen.
