Prayer Requests Thread #3

I have come to discover that the reason one of my dogs is getting out is that there is a (likely) crack addict in the neighborhood who has been trying to lure the dogs out of the yard. Apparently he has heard that I have paid a reward for the dogs before, and he is thinking he can steal and return them for money.

This is one very sad dangerous fellow. I am hoping that through our prayers he can get some of the help he needs and turns his life around. Folks who get to the point he has, definately need miracles.

Today she got out again, from a place underneath the fence that had been secured - but it seems the bricks were moved. She is a pretty small dog so I don’t know if it was her own abilities that were moving these bricks. I am praying not only that she returns safely, but that this guy leaves us alone and gets the help he very badly needs.

Simple, Praying that the Lord bring your sweet dog home safely & soon, to stay, for this man to be healed and find his way back to the Father, and for the protection of you and yours and that no harm come your way.

Hi,

I am asking for prayers for discernment. My boyfriend, whom I have been dating for 6 years, thinks that he might want to become a priest…or that he might want to marry me…or neither. We have set a deadline for September to make a decision, but these months can be difficult for both of us. We are both faithful Catholics and really want to do God’s will in our lives, but he is just not sure what God is calling him to (I think that I am supposed to marry him, so you can imagine what this is all doing to my own discenrmnet life. Though it will be hard to give him up, I am ready to that if it is genuinely God’s will and will serve the Church. The hard thing that I think we are both struggling with is the possibility of making the wrong decision. Pleas pray for us, especially that we can have peace in these next few months and that God will reveal to us his plan for our lives.

pls pray for my 5 yo niece who is very sick with a viral infection. she can’t eat or sleep and my poor sister needs her DH to step in (they have 4 kids total) so she can get some rest in order to go go work tomorrow.

Also, I need prayers for my best friend’s mother. She isn’t doing well. 2 good friends-- special intentions

for myself, special intentions and prayers for all on this thread.

I posted before for prayers for a friend awaiting bone marrow transplant. Lars was called home today.

He was med-evac’ed home to OH from the hospital in TX, and died at home with his wife and two daughters. The oldest just graduated from kindergarten.

Please pray for him and his family.
 
I am so sorry to hear about your friend’s passing. God must have wanted him and called him home. I will continue to pray for his family, also.
Eternal rest grant unto him,O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.
