Prayers for a man who just died, & for his family

In the past I have asked prayers for my friends Elba & Joe, a wonderful couple who are both battling cancer…Early Sunday morning, Elba received news that her only brother, Manuel, has passed away suddenly.
Manuel was the last of her immediate family left, & planning to visit her soon. She was in tears, she has been so brave with her own illness, but this is so heartbreaking for her.
Please pray for Manuel, and for his loved ones. Especially for Elba, who is:( too ill to travel (to Puerto Rico) for the funeral… Also for travelling mercies for her son & his family, who will be flying down for this sad occasion…
 
Ill pray for them all.
May God rest his soul in peace, and may they find peace in their hearts
 
Gracious and merciful Lord, grant Heavenly peace and consolation unto this family in their time of distress, reminding them that Your love is beyond our capacity to understand. Surround them with the comfort of Christ’s saving sacrifice, and of Your immeasureable grace. Strengthen them with increasing hope and thankfulness for Your blessing of Manuel’s life on this earth, and Your trustworthy promise of eternal life in the New Jerusalem. We ask this through Christ, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God forever and ever, Amen.

Especially at 3 p.m.(the Hour of Jesus’s Death)!

CHAPLET TO GOD’S MERCY

Using normal rosary beads,begin with:

The Lord’s Prayer : Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed
be Thy name…… Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee…….
the Apostles Creed :I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven …

On the five large beads :

Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood,Soul and
Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son,Our Lord Jesus Christ,
in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

On the ten small beads :
V. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion,
R. Have mercy on us and on the whole world.

At the end of the Divine Mercy Chaplet say three times:

Holy God, Holy Mighty One Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy
Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Invocation: O Blood and Water that gushed forth from
the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of mercy for us,
I trust in You (3 times)

Sign of the Cross :in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
 
Lord please help this family deal with this. Please give them Your grace to make it through this hard time. We also pray for the repose of this man’s soul. If all these things be in Your will, Amen. :signofcross:
