Prayers for Gio - Congestive Heart Failure

I am requesting prayers for a dear friend who called today. He has congestive heart failure and a serious lung disease and has been in the for a couple of weeks. Doctors haven’t been able to get the fluid down. He has been given anointing of the sick but is still very scared.
 
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses.
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil,
Amen.
 
A friend just lost his dad to end stage heart disease. It was a rough battle. I hope things turn around for your friend. He will be in my prayers!

Dear Convert, after a sinful life, through the power of God’s holy Word you learned to love your fellow human beings. Self-sacrificing, you founded the Society of Hospital Brothers. No wonder the Church made you the patron of patients and nurses and heart patients. That is why we confidently have recourse to you. Please give assistance to Gio and teach us to be kind like you.

God, You filled St. John with the spirit of compassion. Grant that by practicing works of charity we may deserve to be numbered among the elect in Your Kingdom. Amen.
 
Divine Healer and Physician, I pray for this person, that you may grant him the necessary healing, if it is Your will. Most Divine, I ask that you strengthen this person with Your love.

I visited Gio this afternoon. Please continue to pray for him. I don’t believe he has much time left.

Mothert Mary, I entrust Gio to your loving care. Please help him to persevere in faith and in a state of grace, and help him to receive the best medical care. Please help him to be closely united with Our Lord. Amen.

I will remember your friend in my prayers today. May Our Blessed Lord, the Divine Physician, bring him healing and comfort in this difficult time.
