Prayers for Gio - Congestive Heart Failure

I visited Gio last week. He is still weak, but miraculously the swelling in his legs, which is related to the congestive heart failure has declined considerably. Doctors do not know what to make of it and he is so grateful to our Lord.

He is still quite ill, with a serious lung disease. He has diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, and still has a lot of pain. At the present time, the biggest problem is that he unable to eat much. His liver is not producing the proper enzymes due to some damage that occured after a diabetic collapse a few months ago. I thank you for your prayers and ask for continued support of my friend.

Lord Jesus, thank you for my friend Gio and the recent improvements he has experienced in his conditions. Please send your angels to comfort him so that he does not despair of your love. Give him the strength he needs to persevere in the face of these challenges and continue to heal his body, mind and soul. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be.

Thankyou for the update my friend. Good to hear of the improvement in Gio. Prayers continue for his health and that eh will be able to eat more and make a full recovery.

Thank you for your prayers Teresa. I got an update from Gio today. He has been difficult to reach. In a bad depression and he does not want to take medication for it. He says he is feeling better and the swelling in his legs continues to be reduced. However, he continues to struggle with eating and the other meds he is on cause him a lot of pain.

Mother Mary, St. Joseph, St. Andre, please continue to help my dear friend Gio. Ask our Lord to ease his suffering so this trial is more edurable. Please help him to know that his suffering has value and that through it he can unite himself to you. St. Mary Magdalene, please help him to draw close to the Lord and experience his presence as you did after he died. Lord Jesus, I think you for the gift of this dear friend and those who are helping me to pray. Amen.
