Prayers for Glenn, 84, heart & COVID-19 patient; daughter’s family now exposed, & alert dog for epileptic daughter

4-24-20 Update: Glenn keeps improving, so the scare seems behind him, although he’s not back to his normal. Offering prayers now in thanksgiving for Glenn’s continued healing, prayers for the health of his daughter’s family, and that his daughter will be able to afford an epilepsy alert dog that would help her avoid injuries from falling during seizures. Glenn and the family are free of quarantine, but because of all the trauma they’ve experienced, don’t want to leave the premises until they feel safe from the virus within the community. Would appreciate any leads to find a charity group that helps defray expenses for such a dog. My thanks and prayers for all who are remembering this family. May you enjoy extra blessings.

Her face and torso were badly burned when a seizure toppled her into a hot frying pan; then the pan landed on top of her as she slid to the floor when no one else was at home. Good to hear he is improving! I will keep him in my prayers. That’s so sad about his daughter… praying for her…

I don’t have any experience with service pets… This may not be of any help, but is there an organization or foundation for people with epilepsy? It would seem there would be as there is generally one specific for most diseases/ disorders. That would be a good starting point where they could assist you in a direction. I would think this would be a common concern for many people …

@Minks~ this family is in my prayers.

I did a quick search, and I saw a couple of sites regarding service dogs. I checked on reddit - they have a sub reddit community about service dogs. It appears to have active members that help one another with questions. Simply type, “service dogs“ in their search bar.

That might be something… Also, have you considered asking this in the casual discussion forum? Maybe if you ask there- someone might have one themselves and be of assistance with better information.

Just a thought…
