Prayer for the Sick
Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick, we turn to you in this time of illness of dear Frank. O dearest comforter of the troubled, alleviate this families worry and sorrow with your gentle love, and grant them grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in your hands. We place our sick under your care and humbly ask that you restore your servant Frank to health again. Above all, grant the family the grace to acknowledge your will and know that whatever you do, you do for the love of us. Amen.

I know that we aren’t supposed to give too much info on this forum. Just wanted to give an update on Frank. He had to have 2 more surgeries yesterday. The infection that invaded his heart is just trying to consume his whole body. Yesterday, late afternoon…he underwent surgery to remove part of his colon & a second surgeon took out an infected piece of his pelvic bone. They also, removed the large tube that was pary of the machine that was breathing for him & performed a tracheotomy in order to run a small, more comfortatle trache tube to facilitate his breahting. Please, PLEASE pray for him & the doctors who are caring for him. They are the BEST.

Please intercede that Christ will grant the peace that passeth all understanding to my brother. Be with him in his pain & fear. I don’t have any idea how many Hail Mary’s I’ve prayed in my 68 years, but this one is special:

as she strives to do everything for her dear brother.She is visitng often but it is difficult as it is a long trip and her family are not supporting.Please Lord soften the hearts and open the minds of this family to support Frank and visit him and show their care.I ask You to bless CradleCath as she is being such a wonderful sister so supportive and loving and loyal to her dear brother Frank.Bless also his dear wife who has been loyal despite hurt from past addiction on Franks behalf.
Lord I ask You to place Your healing hand upon this dear family.Please heal Frank and let him not suffer pain or fear.Please guide CradleCath to lead her family as to Your will.Lord I ask You to surround this dear family with Your infinite love.

Loving God, please be merciful to Frank in his suffering. Help him to prepare for when he comes before You.
Frank is frail and in discomfort and pain, and his loved ones suffer in seeing him so weak and ill. Help his loved ones to say and do what is needful to bless and reassure.

Be merciful and support this family as they go together through this sad ordeal.
