TBCrawford, I cried as I read your post. One of my prayers today will be for the Lord to give me a heart like yours. Thank you from the bottom of my heart & I know that, could he communicate, Frank would thank you, too.

Dear Lord, Help me to know that if the things I said yesterday, in anger, will help anything. Help me to know whether I should call John & apologize?? The things I said were the truth, but sometimes the truth doesn’t fit with kindness. Most of all, Father, keep Frank safe & don’t let him be hurt again, emotionally or physically. If it is Your Will, give him the strength he needs to get well. If not, take him to his heavenly home & I beg you to do one or the other. I don’t know if I can stand to think of him spending the rest of his life, he’s only 62, in a nursing home. Again, Thy will be done. I WILL stand whatever you choose to give me.

God Bless you & thank you again for your prayers. Frank is doing well for his situation. I, too, pray that God will watch over him & hold him in His arms…for the road to even semi-wellness will be a long one.

The doctors are being guardedly hopeful that he will regain enough strength to have the colon surgery that will enable him to live a half-way normal life. But that will take much time.

I ask You again Lord to bless Frank & to heal our family. Frank needs all of the love he can get right now. I thank You also, for the wonderful people on these forums who are praying for my brother, especially for TBCrawford who prays daily for Frank & myself & my family.

I still don’t know what to do about that, Father, they were all very proud of him while he was drinking & had lots of money. When he lost everything & sought help for his alcoholism, they were gone. I want to pray for my other brother, John & my 2 sisters that they may include him in their lives once again. I know how loving & kind You are, Lord & all of my faith & confidence rests in You.

Prayers of gratitude today, Lord. We have been warned the improvement will be slow, but I saw it yesterday. Frank recognized me & gestured for me to take his hand. The doctors are hoping that he will be able to breathe without machines by the weekend.

You are hearing our prayers, dear Father in Heaven. Stay beside my Brother, ease his pain & help him to gain strength in Your Mighty arms. Thy will be done.

Lord Jesus Christ, You chose to share our human nature, to redeem all people, and to heal the sick. With this in mind I beg You to look with compassion on Your humble servant, my brother, Frank.

Heavenly Father, Bless the people on this forum who are praying for my Brother & my family. Hold them close & keep them safe from harm.
They are earthly angels, who have forgotten self…in their concern for others.

Thank you for Frank’s progress & I ask You to bless him with further recovery. That breathing machine, with it’s large “hose” going straight into his lungs, is causing him much discomfort & pain &, of course, he cannot speak. I pray that it may be removed soon. Thy will be done.

My other brother, John, & one of my sisters are going to visit him tomorrow. Could it be, that my anger brought about some changes in their attitude toward Frank? If so, all honor & glory goes to You, Lord.
Please don’t let them upset him, though, he is fighting for his life & he needs Your grace & Your love, Your compassion & Your mercy.

I know that we aren’t supposed to give too much info on this forum. Just wanted to give an update on Frank. He had to have 2 more surgeries yesterday. The infection that invaded his heart is just trying to consume his whole body. Yesterday, late afternoon…he underwent surgery to remove part of his colon & a second surgeon took out an infected piece of his pelvic bone. They also, removed the large tube that was pary of the machine that was breathing for him & performed a tracheotomy in order to run a small, more comfortatle trache tube to facilitate his breahting. Please, PLEASE pray for him & the doctors who are caring for him. They are the BEST.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.

Please intercede that Christ will grant the peace that passeth all understanding to my brother. Be with him in his pain & fear. I don’t have any idea how many Hail Mary’s I’ve prayed in my 68 years, but this one is special:

We ask O Great Physician, for spiritual, physical, and emotional healing, especially my intention of FRANK.
