Sorry, I haven’t posted in a while. It’s after midnight now…but just wanted to ask you for a few more prayers. Today has been a big day, it was the day that Frank went back to KU. Med. to meet with his surgeons. We are hoping that they will OK. the reversal of his colostomy. Won’t know anything till about Mon. or Tues. because they had several tests run. They’ll have the results then & will be able to tell us something.

We’re all praying hard here as he has really been working toward his goal of being able to come home by Xmas. He’s been doing well & is in great spirits, but blood keeps appearing in his urine. We’ve got our fingers crossed that it is being caused by the catheter & not coming from the kidneys.

Oh glorious apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered thy beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused thee to be forgotten by many, but the Church honors and invokes thee universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for my Brother who is so sick; make use, I implore thee, of that particular privilege accorded thee of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance (& to the assistance of my Brother, Frank) in this great need, that we may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all our necessities, tribulations and sufferings, particularly, and that I may bless God with thee and all the elect throughout eternity. **I promise thee, O blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor thee as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to thee.
