My Crohn’s has been been giving me heck again. I’m on some new med that is helping with the bathroom issues but everytime I eat I get unbelievably nauseous and have a lot of stomach cramping. Ofcourse if I go without eating I get really nauseous after a while too, so I can’t win. The nausea is giving me a generally over all feeling of malaise and is starting to really wear on me mentally.

I had one day of feeling normal and relatively healthy over the last two months and it just feels like there is no end in sight. My mind starts to run over time and I start thinking maybe there is something else wrong with me, maybe I have stomach cancer -as if congestive heart failure and Crohn’s disease is not enough. (Cancer is a huge phobia of mine because my adopted sister died from it.)

I have been fighting panic attacks pretty regularly again which I haven’t had in over 10 years. Conversations that start out normal and everyday with my hubby, turn into me crying and hyperventilating - I feel like a mental patient, and I know he feels helpless on how to help me.

Please pray that I get some relief. Thank you so much!

You are really suffering and will be keeping you in prayer with Our Lady of Perpetual Help and St. Dymphna…I hope relief will come speedily for you…

Rayne89, the desolation you feel is a sign that your life has taken a Christ-like form. Imagine the utter despair that Christ felt on the cross as he suffered in innocence for those most detestable souls on earth. With every molecule of your being, draw upon the strength you have left and collapse into the loving and awaiting arms of your Savior. Allow an increasing faith to replace all fears, beginning with the unwarranted and leading to the genuine. In faith and trust devote each day to God, thanking Him for His precious gift of life. As you trudge in the physical and spiritual desert, recall that you are not wandering, but crossing it. Some deserts are wider than others, but the loving Lord will never burden you with more than you can bear. And, so I pray:

Merciful and Loving God, take Heavenly pity upon Rayne89 as she suffers greatly. May her affliction be for the sake of Your Blessed Kingdom. Graciously hear our beloved Jesus as He intercedes on her behalf, His suffering having purchased for her a life eternal in perfection, and in adoration of You, Most Ancient One, as You are. In Your Divine Love, heal the one flesh that she is with her husband, who is so dear to her. Grant him strength to accompany her on her journey, that they may persevere to the end and be saved for the sake of Your Beloved Son. I ask this through Christ, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen.

Hey Rayne…I’ll keep you in my prayers at Mass this morning.

O Jesus, I humbly beg of you to
enter the mind of Rayne and give
comfort to the anxiety issues. Enter
her body and heal her physically.
Grant her the strength to deal with
what ever comes her way. We ask
this in the name of Jesus Christ.
AMEN

Praying for your healing.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
Amen.

I will be saying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for you today.May JESUS take away your fears and anxiety.

Thank you all so much! Today has been much better than yesterday. I’m being very careful what I eat -oatmeal, noodles and soymilk so far today. I need to go out grocery shopping in a little bit which I’m dreading. Activity seems to make it worse. I really appreciate all your wonderful prayers. God Bless!

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God Bless
In Jesus through Mary

What a blessing that you are able to go out and shop. My mother loved to get around, but was homebound, then confined to her bed for quite a while. Give thanks for the little things.

Christ’s peace.

I hope I didn’t come across as complaining. I know so many people are worse off than I am and I am very greatful for the life that God has given me.

I survived shopping by the way -a little nausea but nothing like the last few days. I have to work tomorrow and then take my daughter to a Christmas party afterwards. Hoping things continue to go better than they have. God Bless!

Place your faith and trust on Him, as we do for each and every breath we take. Lord, strengthen us to do this always.
