My wife and I went to Pittsburgh on Wednesday to see a specialist for the baby.

It turns out our son, Joshua, has a benign tumor in his left chest which is growing. It is pushing all his organs to the right and down and preventing the lungs from developing. The medical name for it is “Congenital Cystic Adenomatoid Malformation”. They are unable to remove the tumor without putting his and my Wife lives at MORE risk.

We go back in three weeks. To see if the tumor has grown, stayed the same size, or shrunk. If the tumor stays the same or shrinks the possibility for survival, if he makes it to at least 34-37 weeks is 75-80%, we are at week
24 now.

However, if it continues to grow the survival rate goes down to 10%.

We will go at least one time per week to the doctors to make sure the heart is still beating. On April 16th we go back down to Pittsburgh to see if the tumor has stopped growing. If it stops or gets smaller, then we talk to some pediatric specialists to see what happens next.

If the tumor does not stop growing. There is a great possibility it would endanger both my Son and my Wife lives.

Please, please keep them in your prayers. We are praying for a complete disappearance of the tumor. I know the only person to LOVE my Son more my wife and I is God and we pray for the peace and grace to let Gods’ will be done.

Currently she is doing a Novena to Saint Anne and we are both praying for the intercession of Saint Gerard. Any and All prayers are appreciated and felt.

Thank you & God Bless,

Lew

Praying for your family in this difficult situation.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Praying for you and your family, and also for the doctors.

I am praying for your son and family. God can do what the doctors cannot. I am praying that the tumor will shrink to nothing and all will be well. May God bless you all with a miracle.

**Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick,
we turn to you in this time of illness.
O dearest comforter of the troubled,
alleviate worry and sorrow of this family
with your gentle love,
and grant them the grace and strength
to accept this burden.
Dear God, we place our worries in your hands.
We place this sick little unborn baby under your care
and humbly ask that you heal him.
Bring peace to the mother and father of this little one.
Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge your will
and know that whatever you do,
you do for the love of us.
Amen. **

Thank you all for your Prayers. They are heard and felt. My wife was very touched when I showed her your posts. She cannot believe that there are people out there who do not even know her and Joshua and they are Praying for them. Thank you, thank you, thank you and please keep praying!!!

God Bless All of You!

Keeping both your wife and son in prayer with Our Lady of Perpetual Help and St. Joseph…and Blessed Mary MacKillop…

Praying very hard for your wife and precious baby! May God be with you during this difficult time.

Praise GOD!

First off THANK YOU to everyone for their prayers & support. I wanted to let everyone know that we went down to the Cincinnati Childrens Hospital this past Wednesday and after a day full of tests we were told that the tumor has grown as big as it can and IS SHRINKING!! I have no doubt that we are witness to a miracle of GOD!

This miracle means that my son’s life and my wife’s is no longer in danger! It has been pretty tense the past couple of weeks I feel as if I have been stuck in a coffin at the bottom of the ocean and now I can finally take a breath. One of the lowest points, if not the lowest was when the doctor recommended my wife get her “plans” in order. The situation was diagnosed as a “poor outcome” by the doctor. So you can imagine what we felt when we were told the tumor was shrinking and their lives were no longer in danger.

I still am trying to wrap my head around all the “ripples” from this event. Not only has it strengthened the faith my wife & I, but also my mother who attends a Baptist church said her faith up until now was “like glass”. She went to the church where Kelly and I were married and prayed there for a good part of the day on Tuesday. She said while she was praying there is was the first time she actually felt the PRESENCE of GOD! WOW! I have no doubt that this ripple was a part of God’s plan all along.

Everyone out there who is praying for us, you will all never know how much you mean to us. I wish I could meet everyone of you face to face and give you the biggest hug you ever received and say “I Love You.”

Please take the time to say a prayer to God today and
Thank him for all he has done for you.

God Bless All of You!

I didn’t see your original request, but I’m praying now! Praying for the continued shrinking of the tumor, good health for all three of you, and a healthy and wonderful labor and delivery. Praying for your friend too who actually experienced God in your church. Most of all thanking God for His wonderful love and mercy!! :crossrc: :grouphug: ❤️

Praise God and thank you, Mother Mary! I started crying as I read this…the miracles that Our Lord bestows upon us just continues to blow my mind. I listened to a man give his witness of how he was filled with tumors and the Lord totally healed him after a group of people prayed over him. The findings are documented and the Dr’s told him that he had only a few weeks left to live said, “it’s a miracle.” They did every test imaginable on him and had no explanation as to how this happened. WE KNOW!! I am so happy for you…God bless you and your family.

Praying for you and your family!! Please update us in a few weeks

First off, I apologize for not giving an update sooner, but really nothing much has changed since my last post. We go back to the specialists on June 2nd for an update of tests and to plan the birth. This past Thursday was the 30 week mark and a mark that needed to be met and is good news for my son and wife. Please keep them in your prayers. I will be praying for all of you and your intentions as well. Thanks again and will send an update after the next meeting.

God Bless You!

Praise God. You might like to know that it was the prayers from the Intercessors of the Lamb that eventually lead to my wife’s conversion…my reversion. Our then church thought we were being overly concerned and thought we were only praying for aesthetic reasons. CMTC is not just an aesthetic problem. Cysts on her ovaries and in her kidneys is not aesthetic. We left shortly afterwards to a mega non-denomination trying to find a better fit church, something we did for 17 years. We were church of Christ. I discovered the didache and then found lots of other ancient documents that Catholics call the ancient church fathers. We’re all Catholic now and happy. Priestly vocations growing hopefully. You are in my prayers.
