Deacon Ed,

Still praying for Bobbie. How is she doing? How are you doing? Please keep us posted.

Blessings,
Judi

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
Amen.

Tlhank you all for the prayers. Keep them coming. She is having problems with the short arm cast that was put on last week, and we see the doctor this afternoon to determine whether she needs another long arm cast or internal fixation. Will keep all advised.
Prayers & blessings

Deacon Ed,

You and Bobbie most definitely have my prayers. It seems the nerves that pass through the lower arm have the ability to produce intense amounts of pain. When Diane broke the 2 bones near her left wrist, she was in so much pain they had me signing all of the papers to let her in for surgery (she’s left-handed). That was after I drove from West Hollywood to Norwalk in under 30 minutes and then got her to the hospital they wanted to use in under 15 (I’ll just say I got some of my bad habits from my Grandmother who used to be known as “Velocity Verla” and “Burnout Barnett”)…

I assume by “four level” you mean L4, L5 & S1 - I’ve been a “Chronic Pain Patient” for since 2001 and have been disabled since 2004. So I have some idea of the pain Bobbie’s in, and what she has to deal with every day. Spraining her back was probably not the worst thing that could have happened, but the fear about the worst thing will make the sprain worse and more painful than it otherwise would have been. It’s a fact of life - I know that, even though I’ve survived some nasty falls, nothing scares me more than the possibility of severing my spinal cord in a bad fall. I can imagine Bobbie might have the same fear, and that can’t make this any easier.

An, Whatever the Orthopedist suggests is probably going to hurt more, not less, at least in the short term, with the exception of medications he can prescribe.

I’ll pray for you and have you and Bobbie included in the Mass intentions of St. Mary’s for the rest of the week and next week.

Your Servant and Brother in Christ, Michael
Thank you so much for your support and prayers. I too will keep you in my prayers and offer up my pain for you. God love and keep you.
Bobbie Jean.

I want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for all your prayers. You have no idea how much they mean to me. I still have a long way to go and continued prayers are needed. Know that I keep all of you in prayer and offer my pain for all of you. God’s love and blessings to all of you.
Bobbie Jean

Hi, Bobbie, I have a broken right arm, I am currently on disability and a history of spinal fusion too.
(L1-3 in 1981) My back was not involved in my accident.

You will be in my prayers. May our gracious Lord bless the hands of those who care for you.

Deacon Ed & Bobbie,

You are both still in my prayers. I am thinking of you often.

Blessings,
Judi

Deacon Ed and Bobbie Jean, please forgive me for missing this thread! I am offering prayers of supplication on your behalf. As you are already offering your suffering up in great faith, I will pray for the gift of fortitude for the two of you. May the Great Healer bless you with peace on this earth, and the trustworthy promise of an eternity of joy in His presence. Amen! Alleluia!

I arrived early to pick my daughter up at school today. I went to the school’s chapel and interceded before the Blessed Sacrament for a half hour on behalf of both of you. May Christ’s peace overshadow you as did the Holy Spirit with our Blessed Mother at the Annunciation. Amen!
