Prayers for our kitty

Asking for more prayers for our little sweetheart, Marlie. She has been in the hospital for a week now with kidney and heart issues. She has a severe infection in her kidneys and the hydration she needs has put her into right-sided heart failure. The veterinarians are doing everything they can to balance the two organs but treatment for one hurts the other. It’s a long shot hoping for her full recovery, but I know nothing is impossible with Jesus. NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE. Please, please pray for our sweet girl! She is so very important to us as she is my twin sister’s cat and my twin sister is currently serving in Afghanistan.

Marlie’s 3rd Birthday is right around the corner and we would like her safe and well at home with us <3 Thank you <3

FOR ANIMALS, OUR PETS

Good St. Francis, you loved all of God’s creatures.
To you they were your brothers and sisters.
Help us to follow your example
of treating every living thing with kindness.
St. Francis, Patron Saint of animals,
watch over dear kitty Marlie
and keep her safe. Please intercede on her behalf and
petition our Lord to restore her to health
so she may continue to be a sweet companion in this life.

I’m really sorry to hear that Marlie has been so very ill. 😦

Prayers said for your intentions, and I also pray that she can pull through this illness.

A Prayer for Sick Pets, especially Marlie

Heavenly Father, our human ties with our friends of other species is a wonderful and special gift from You. We now ask You to grant our special animal companions your Fatherly care and healing power to take away any suffering they have. Give us, their human friends, new understanding of our responsibilities to these creatures of Yours. They have trust in us as we have in You; our souls and theirs are on this earth together to give one another friendship, affection, and caring. Take our heartfelt prayers and fill Your ill or suffering animals with healing Light and strength to overcome whatever weakness of body they have.

We pray most especially for Marlie, the kitten, that she might recover from her serious illness and be reunited with her loving family and her owner who is serving in the military. In addition, I would also like to pray for my cat O. who has kidney trouble, my friend’s cat L. who has cancer, and any other sick cats and other pets who might belong to a poster or reader of CAF forums.

Your goodness is turned upon every living thing and Your grace flows to all Your creatures. From our souls to theirs goodness flows, touching each of us with the reflection of Your love. Grant to our special animal companions long and healthy lives. Give them good relationships with us, and if You see fit to take them from us, help us to understand that they are not gone from us, but only drawing closer to You. Grant our prayer through the intercession of good St. Francis of Assisi, who honored You through all Your creatures. Give him the power to watch over our animal friends until they are safely with You in eternity, where we someday hope to join them in giving You honor forever.

Heavenly father we continue our prayers for this creature of God. We pray for all of those who are caring for her that they may be at their top performance. We pray for the life and for the health and for the healing of this wonderful creature. Heavenly father we pray for all of those who are suffering from the sadness that this situation is bringing. May God watch over them and keep them strong in faith.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Marlie). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Marlie’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
