Prayers for Tariq Aziz

Please pray for Tariq Aziz. I know that he was no saint. That he was also Saddam’s right man; and that he converted to Islam. However, he was once a Chaldean Catholic, and I think he might have since returned to the church. He has been condemned to death for his crimes. He has also served time in prison for previous crimes.

Please pray that he will be reconciled to the church (if he is not already reconciled) before he is executed I do not think that the death penalty will be rescinded.
If anyone is a case for Divine Mercy I think he is.
 
Lord, in your mercy please help Tariq Aziz to be reconciled to the Catholic Church before he dies. May he repent of his sins and be forgiven so he can be saved on the day you call him to leave this world. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. Amen.

Jesus please reclaim this man as your own, filling him with humble repentance and conversion before his death.

I was wondering when this thread would begin. I also find no evidence that Mr. Aziz ever converted away from his Chaldean Catholicism. He is known as the only Christian in the Hussein regime.
